I'm recovering from a surgery I had yesterday and have been feeling pretty sore and sorry for myself but this video helped me even to enjoy this moment!

Thank you, Rob! I need to listen to this weekly. I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer last year, I have had surgery to remove the cancer & currently going through chemo to prevent recurrence. Instead of being grateful that my cancer has been removed & it has not spread, my mind is constantly thinking of recurrence. You are right, I need to be present, I’m alive today. Thank you again! Will be saving this to my weekly listening list!

Very well presented video and thoughts! Love the example that our daily sometimes boring life is better and more valuable than $100 million. I've found that getting into nature really helps me to be mindful and present.

Great explanation of the "hedonic treadmill": always looking toward the next goal. The grounding exercise is also something I've seen to alleviate panic attacks.
