Food for thought… do not copy this exact layout. Also, if you use this same layout on a bowling ball with your PAP measurements, it might not look the same. This doesn’t change reaction however. It’s the same exact layout but with your own PAP. Our style, revs, where we like to play the lanes - they will all determine the layouts you need for your equipment. Higher rev players may need a higher Pin Buffer so that the reaction is not as strong. Low rev players may need a lower Pin Buffer so that the ball can respond quicker. These factors are very important. Watch my video a good 2-3 times, and understand the information I am giving you. Again, all questions are welcome!

@@anthonydorazio9650 Hi Anthony! So for Dual Angle, the lower the number for the last angle = sharper/quicker response off the spot! This is the same for VLS too

It’s a lot of information which is understandable. If you understand what ball flare is and how it affects hook (ex. more flare = more hook), and that a pin buffer arc (the third arc of the layout) below 3 1/2 will create a smoother roll vs a pin buffer higher than 3 1/2 will create a sharper roll (more “backend”), then layouts become super easy

I thought the last line where your PAP should be the center of your grip? It doesn’t looks centered to me. 😢

the last two lines you draw on the ball are the midline, then the center line. They are both perpendicular to one another. Where they both intersect is where the center of grip is

Does this only work for three fingers or can it also work with two fingers? The final area where you put your finger holes is right around where mine are, just without the thumb hole.

The VLS system is designed for traditional one-handed bowlers. However, it does not mean it cannot work for you. Experimentation is vital for getting better and finding out what we like as bowlers. In the next couple of videos, I will be posting a two-finger/two-handed layout video. Stay tuned and be sure to sub and hit the notification bell so you get notified when I upload it!

The DualAngle seems so much easier to me.. and is way faster to lay out. Is there something about the VLS that makes it a better layout??? Cuz I'm not seeing anything special.

Not sure where the information is coming from about VLS being better than Dual Angle. They both do the same exact thing. Instead of degrees, you work with inches. Really is the only difference. If Dual Angle is easy for you, great dude. Every layout system that is widely used in the industry is easy for me. I still use Dual Angle for customers from time to time.

I’m sure you have no issue following the steps, more or less it’s the numbers that I assume are what is tricky for you. Think of it this way for the VLS layout system: First arc is Pin to PAP. We know that 3 3/8 gives the strongest flare. If you want less flare, use a larger number like 4. If you want it to flare early and smooth out, use a shorter number such as 2 1/2. The same goes for the next arc PSA to PAP. This number really only matters for Asymmetrical equipment. This number would also matter on symmetrical equipment if weight/balance holes existed but we’re not in 2010 anymore. The numbers still apply like the Pin to PAP arc. There is no difference. If you want it to flare less, use a higher number than 3 3/8. Flare earlier and smooth, use a lower number. The last arc the Pin Buffer will determine reaction down lane. I tend to use 3 as my middle point. Want a sharper reaction? Use a smaller number such as 2. Want a smoother transition of the bowling ball? Use something like 3 3/4 or 4. That is all there is to it.

That all right, you can save a tons of money. If you are not curious, they made no money. Just think, no matter what they did, you still had to generate those motion or force with your hand, they can.t be automatically .to get a strike.😂😂😂

The VLS layout system not only is a faster layout system, but will also come out to the same Pin-to-Pap, Drilling Angle, and Val coordinates as Dual Angle. There is a converter that exists. To be frankly honest, they both do the exact same thing and the outcome is the exact same as long as you convert the angles to arcs or arcs to angles. Dual Angle is a great system, but VLS has less variables. Less time=more work flow

@@JoeBrrFan I can do VLS in less than 20 seconds. Literally just 3 arcs. It’s not really a competition bro. Both are great layout systems that mean the same exact thing at the end of the day. I find the flow faster with VLS. If you don’t, then you don’t.
