One little tip to make your life even easier with the parchment paper trick. Stick the vinyl to the parchment paper and leave the small corner exposed but don’t stick the exposed edge to the base vinyl. Hold that exposed edge up off the surface and now you can line things up perfectly. Once in the correct placement you can press the exposed edge down and then peel off the parchment paper and it will be exactly where you need it.

It is nice to see you reuse the image. Layering cam be tough. I usually apply each layer to my blank, but it is easier to apply the vinyl at one time! I will try the parchment paper method.

I just watched this video and your previous one before this on how to create multiple layers out of a one layered image and I am so in awe because you made it look so easy! I am new to the Cricut life and haven't gotten myself to go near layering yet so these videos gave me hope!
