Allow me to give you a tip...well a few... 1- once it's done washing put the clothes in the spinner for about a minute to squeeze out the excess soap while you drain the wash.... then put them back to rinse 2- here in d.r. it is very common to wash at least two loads with the same water. So you can take out the first load and put in spinner and wash a second load, and THEN drain and rinse the 2 loads. 3- you can also just rinse INSIDE the spinner by running the water in there while it spins. But be careful with the angle the water goes in due to splashing. Also, some of these machines have the hose hook up and you can slide a bar to direct the water flow to the spinner, then that would entail needing a faucet where u can connect a hose to

@@dukedizzy Yes. That is actually NOT A DRYER, per se. It is the spinner to squeeze out the water so that they are not soaking wet. Yes you can put the hose in the spinner and it will rinse out the detergent. The way i do it is that i run the water for a minute or so. Then start the spinner and you'll see A BUNCH OF SUDS COMING OUT THE HOSE. You'll know the clothes are soap free when the water is clear or soap free obviously. There are models of these machines that come with a hose hook up and a water diverter. So in one setting its to fill the tank and you slide the bar and the water goes into the spinner / dryer......FOR THE PURPOSE OF RINSING. If your machine doesn't have the hose connect you can just put the hose in. BEAR IN MIND: some spinners dont start if the lid is up, so what i do is just apply pressure to the lid with the hose inside and stand there until done. Also. What you can do is either ise fabric softener in a separate bicket with water or do what i do: I rinse out all the clothes and then fill the tank with the fabric softener water and just add portions of the rinsed clothes and then dspin them again and they are now smelling fresh. Loterally last week on April 6 i washed sheets sets for 2 beds and all my clothes in under 2 hours. Oh, and a thin quilt. I live in d.r. so people usually rent these by the hour of theu don't own one.

This was oddly satisfying to watch lol. I love seeing clothes get clean weird! If I lived in an apartment I would surely get one of these because I dislike going to the laundromat uggh. Pretty amazing how big of a load this little machine can take, reminds me when I lived in the Caribbean, my aunt had one and we'd wash and hang our clothes outside on the line to dry in the sun. Clean crisp smelling clothes. The worst part was when an unexpected shower of rain came & you had to sprint outside and collect your clothes 😅😅

Lol. I grew up my first nine years in Nigeria, and my mom dried clothes on a clothes line in the sun with those wooden clothes pins that nobody knows what they are today if you mentioned them. But we didn't have to worry about sudden rain and having to sprint outdoors to get clothes out of the rain because in Nigeria you only have two seasons (at least where I lived): rainy season and dry season, so if it was dry season, clothes drying in the sun were safe. xD

I just bought this machine to use for full immersion cloth dyeing and it is perfect. I am fairly new to cloth dyeing and I’ll yell you it can get very messy. I was having a time getting the left over dye to rinse out before I got this machine. Now I mix up my chemicals and dye, drop in my prepared fabric and let the machine agitate to get the even coverage. I have taken the cloth and dye solution out of the machine and put in a separate bucket for the remainder of the dyeing time. Once time is up I put the cloth in the spinner to remove some of the dye then I fill the wash tun, agitate, drain, spin and repeat until the rinse water is clear. Clean up is a snap. I really like this machine.

Just ordered this based on your video. You are right on the money when it comes to people and their weird behavior at laundromats. Live in NYC and most people don't have washer and dryers in their apartments no matter how much money they have. I've lived in regular buildings and doorman buildings and the exact same things happen with people touching/moving my clothes, and I laughed hard when you described the underwear situation -- same thing with me only the pervert took bottoms right when I turned my back. Even had folks putting articles of clothes in my dryer so they didn't have to pay the dryer fee in a doorman building! Husband says I should just stop complaining but enough is enough. Keeping my fingers crossed this works out. Still working well with you?

My husband and I just got one of these, actually. We ended up getting a slightly different model (It's pink and looks like an Easy Bake Oven. XD), but works exactly the same. We have ours sitting on top of an overturned tote between the sink and the commode in the bathroom where it's elevated/easy to fill and drain. Never use the hose to fill; we have a bucket we just fill it from the top with. I was honestly super surprised at how well this thing works!

We have a full size washer and dryer BUT I do not want to mix the mask with my other clothing. And I do not want the mask laying around waiting for enough to justify running the washer and dryer. That is how I got here today and I have to tell you I am so happyI found you here. You showed me exactly what I need and you explained everything in a funny but serious way that made perfect sense to me. Thank you so much for taking time to share your experience! I am subscribed now and will be watching for future videos!!! Once again THANK YOU!!!

I'm seriously thinking of buying one. My husband and I live in a one bedroom apartment. He works third shift and me can't work I really want to help him with laundry. Sometimes, not often, sometimes we go two weeks because of him working third shift retail. Thanks for the video!

I have one of these type washer/spinners. I use Econuts (soapnuts) and don't rinse the clothes. It is the best $100 I have ever spent. We are a family of three adults and a dog, and we do laundry one day a week. That's it, takes about an hour and a half to do all our laundry. I set up outside on our back porch, use the hose to fill the tub and let it drain into our vegetable garden. I boil 5 soapnuts with two cups of water about an hour before doing laundry, and only have to use about a tablespoon. I occasionally use my standard sized dryer, but mostly I just hang everything on the line and let the sun and wind do all the work. We have saved a lot of money doing it this way. Our electric bill dropped by almost $30 bucks, our water (because now I am using hose water, not potable water) by almost $10, and this is every month! Worth it to spend time outside with my dog and my garden.

I’m so glad I watched ur video. I’ve been looking at videos for portable washing machines for 2 days. But I liked ur video & follow up video. That helped me more to choose this one. Along with my price range & the type of clothing I wear. & I’m single so I did weigh out my options. Even tho the price did climb to $131 + $18 for a 2yr warranty. But out of all video’s, I loved urs the most. Ur personality is just relatable. Thank you for making these videos. & getting it from Walmart.com my item will come like 5 days faster but Amazon did have the same price $131 except I don’t kno if they also came with warranty.

These are manual machines. You would use it similar to a conventional washing machine. Wash, spin, rinse spin. You should only use up to one tablespoon of soap in the wash for larger loads, less for smaller loads.

Nice review! I'm also a germaphobe and I get icked out when I have to touch stair handrails & bathroom door handles in public. When I'm in a stall and hear the person next to me having a very thorough "toilet session" & then hear them leave the stall and the door to leave immediately opens and no handwashing at all....gross!

I got my mini Zeny Clothes Washer last week and I don't rinse in the wash side after done washing. I just put clothes in spinner and let it spin for a few minutes and spray with my shower head inside (it stops spinning when you open lid) to get clothes good and wet again and spin again for a few minutes and I repeat this at least 3 or 4 times and it rinsed really good this way too. I have a studio apartment and this is the perfect size I can wash all my stuff except my quilts and blankets. It will wash a queen size sheet one at a time. Does great. And I bought a garment rack with rollers and just hang my clothes on hangers on it and in my closet too and let air dry. Works good. If it was twice the size with one tub that washed and spinned in one tub it would do a queen size blanket.

Not sure if anyone else already commented, but an essential item for me because I have a dog that sheds, are these little lint catcher traps that float in for use in the wash tub of the machine. They are only a couple dollars each. They have these flower cookie cutter shaped foam pieces like swimming pool noodles. The bottom half is a cone/funnel shaped lint trap. I only use one lint trap at a time but it's nice to have multiples to alternate between loads or between wash/rinse cycles and let the traps dry out, making it easier clean. Just toss it in after you've already loaded your clothes and that's it. You can see it float around so you know if it's stuck underneath something but it hasn't even been stuck under big blankets. They keep the inside tub so clean that I don't even have to wash the inside at all besides maybe an occasional rinse only when I'm washing my dog's blankets. It catches dog fur and lint better than the industrial washers at laundromats even.

We use this type of washing machine here in the Philippines. It saves water and electricity. After washing your laundry with soap, spin the clothes before rinsing it in clean water. That would help remove most of the detergent and you don’t need to rinse your load more than once. 😊
