Hi guys, a few of you have reached out to me since I published this video to ask about purchasing the washing machine from Temu. I have never heard of this company before until you guys brought it to my attention. On first glance, their pricing seem impossibly cheap for the US. But after checking the comparable prices in Chinese Yuan (with exchange rate), some prices are comparable. However, from my personal experience shopping in China, there is a reason why some of these things are dirt cheap. The rules and regulations for products are much more relaxed and quality and shopping experience is going to match exactly what you paid for (hint: poor). So while I'm not going to tell you where you should do your shopping, please do your own research on the store before you purchase.

Great concept. Speed Queen should jump on this and make a bigger, more premium version. My school backpack is 20 L and this washing machine is only 10 L, way too small. I'd like to see a 40 L collapsible washing machine with a much better motor. It would be perfect for apartment dwellers. You could do your laundry in the shower or the bathtub.

I agree, I wish they made a larger one. I think this was meant to be travel sized so it can fit in a suitcase, not for vanlife or apartment dwellers. But as someone who used to live in an apartment in NY, there's totally a market for a bigger one.

If you only need a few things, it wahed it is great. Do not expect this to like a full-size machine is not only for small iteams. Great for baby clothes. I highly recommend it.

One of these works surprisingly well for me, for delicate technical hiking clothes that I don’t want to put in my buildings community washers. At $6 a load to wash and dry it’s just not efficient to have to do a partial load. Now I’m taking along on road trips and it works great.

I found the pink one with a spin basket at the thrift store for $20. I’ve washed everything in it from my reusable cloth wipes to yoga pants. Lots of underwear and socks. It does take a ton of water but this is for home and travel so it works for my needs. The spin basket does pretty well but I can still hand wring after the fact. Overall I use this for the above mentioned items. Heavy items like jeans and thick pants and hoodies I use my big washer. But I only do about 1 big load a week (or less) because I use this small washer for everything else.

Thank you! I didn't even think about it, but yes, I guess it's another pro, to be able do laundry in the shadows of mountains, instead of a wall. Thanks for the review. I’m a full time banner and I’m researching this topic. I have been in my van for 2 years and have been using a salad spinner to spin dryand just hand washing in my sink. Storage space, capacity and water consumption are my priorities. I have used the twin tub style and they work great - getting more water out than the salad spinner, but I don’t have a place to store one.

Capacity would be where this washing machine falls short. I've never tried, but I doubt my jeans would fit in this. Still, if you have to handwash the bigger items, and use this for smaller items, it's still a win. Great idea on the salad spinner, btw!

How heavy is the pump? I would hesitate putting heavy things in the bucket because there is a motorized spinner on the bottom and you may damage it over time. However, if the pump is not that heavy, and if you wrap it well enough to cushion it for transportation, I don't see why not.
