I feel very confident in my last interview. When I was asking questions about the job and where I would relocate the senior manager said “This is fun, I wish all interviews were like this.”

After I complete an interview I just move on to the next job posting that seems to be a great fit and complete an application here on indeed. For me, it is definitely a numbers game and of course, I definitely get more practice with each interview I have.

@@brooks323 You are def not alone. Interviewing is a whole skillset in itself... "WHO KNEW?"

A job interview is not aced unless you were hired. Or at least sent to the second round. Any "sign" that an interview went well should be ignored unless you received an offer.

Negative, most jobs will never tell you if you got the job right away. Even if they kniw you got it, they still want to interview the other people to not waste their time.

@@infktiousvenom1061 That's the whole point. It may be a month or a couple weeks later, but it's all about did you receive an offer/invite to the next round or not? Until then, continue getting interviews in the pipeline. It's a numbers game. No different than getting a date with a woman.

Not true. Multiple candidates can be really strong and therefore get a great response during. It's still good to know whether you interviewed well or terribly, you may just have been pipped at the post.

@@bleakafPeople get caught up in BS fluff that means zilch. "Interviewing well" means nothing in the grand scheme of things. The panel or whomever may say you "interviewed well" but it all boils down to if you got hired or advanced to the next round. It is that black and white. "Interviewing well" is fine for ego, but it doesn't pay rent. The check from the new job does though. "Interviewing well" and receiving "Unfortunately..." is like the 1991 Buffalo Bills. Got to the Super Bowl and lost. Conversely, getting that offer is like the 2009 NOLA Saints. Got to the Super Bowl and won. You never know what could happen between the interview and the decision (which the hiring team completely controls BTW). Just like when you want to get with a girl. You'll never know what made her reject you when everything else went well.

The point of this video is to look for signs to see if you're going to get the offer because of the anxiety that people get while waiting for the call after the interview.

TBH, I never felt confident after my interviews. After two of my recent successful interviews, I felt down and was certain I failed. I should have answered this and that... etc. But there were successful! On the other side, on one interview I felt totally confident....I failed! 🙄

9:22 I must confess, you have saved me. I almost didn't send a "thank you" to the team. But I did after watching your video. And guess what! Boom very positive responds, expressing, how good it was to meet and adding that I should get ready to meet them again in the coming week🎉❤❤❤

I just went to an “Open House” - a two hour window at the Jersey Shore at a popular beach bar looking for summer bartender work (side hustle). They complimented me on being early/the first one, said they really liked my energy, and the gentleman I spoke with said I was at the top of the list. Again - this wasn’t a “scheduled” one on one interview but you walk in and basically present yourself and speak with them. They introduced me to everyone there and we ended on a very positive note. I had a resume, cover letter, and references and they seemed impressed. It’s been just over 24 hours and this was on a Saturday. I also sent a thank you email, as well. Is this a good or encouraging sign?

My interview went 2 minutes over the scheduled time. Its a sign lol😅

I had an interview 24 hours ago. He said that I have a very good resume and my qualifications are good. He said he will send my resume to the hiring manager and should hear back next week. Then I had to answer 2 questions on the computer. One of them I got not right. Then He offers me a tour. So I asked him when do you think I did. He said I did well. I got to meet some of the team members and the area where I will be working. I open the door for them and handshake every meet member that I met. After the tour and at the end of the interview. He asked when I can start. Is this all a good signs?

I just had an interview. One of the managers said I did good and liked my answers and questions during the interview. However, I was told that I would hear back sometime next week. I then wanted to send them a thank you letter so I reached out to the HR person for the manager's email address so I could send them the thank you letter. The HR person has not responded. Is this a sign that they aren't really interested?

It's rare that they do they even said in the interview. Probably for confidentiality. Hope you hear some good news soon

I had a job interview at VW as a software engineer and it was for 2 very close languages I am used to work with. The team lead asked me, what languages I would like to work with and told them, of course the two I am already used to, but since the others are very very close it isnt really a bad thing. They then started that they search for developers anyways and have more than one open position and also projects in my preferred languages and that it wouldnt be a problem. Does that count as they are selling me a role?

I passed the coding challenge, interviewer said "Good luck with everything, I hope to see you around". Its. aremote developer job. How would I see him around if im not hired? sounds like I passed. But no offer yet. Its been 23 hrs

I position my video camera in front of my monitor, this way I can maintain eye contact with the interviewer via the camera.

I had an interview yesterday. I received a thank you email from a member of the interview committee and was later emailed asking to fill out an application through their portal for the position I interviewed for. Is this a good sign or am I thinking too much into it? Interestingly enough, I applied for the job through Indeed.

Why rhese advisers keep saying must sending thank you letter or email, while in most case, we would know the interviewer's email address, but they never mentioan that. Why?
