Actually, there is and has been for decades, a shortage of CNA’s. If you are breathing, you are hired. This video is not the real world. I’m a CNA

Thanks a lot for such informative videos. Request your advice on getting back into workforce after 2+ years of career gap due to medical emergency at home. I couldn't upskill myself during this period as most of the time was spent on taking care of my ailing mother. Since situation is settled now and I am ready to join workforce but it seems to be a dead end as no reply from companies despite of multiple applications having ATS friendly Resume'. I left my last job as an AVP-Finance and would like to restart with same level or a level below at least. Can you please help me in such situation by sharing your suggestions? Thanks!

In real life you have only a few minutes in between calls. You make about 10 per day. If one client complains you can be fired. You also must be preparing X amount of tax returns in a short period of time, if not you will be fired, regardless of any stumbling blocks you think are good excuses. You never go home at 5pm. You must work overtime for free to get more work done, or else you'll be fired. You are competing against your peers. There's no employee protection at firms. The pay is below average, the benefits are mediocre. Also anyone can be a tax professional without college and that brings the pay down. And this is the truth in a day in a life of a tax accountant.

1:00 head up, shoulders pulled back, no slouching, and no laid-backness. the interview begins the minute you walk into the building. treat everyone with respect and eye contact. firm handshake and eye contact and say their names. 2:10 why do you want to work here? what make you unique? what you bring to this role? 2:55 I love team-building and making sure everyone has a part. 3:00 don't speak negatively about previous places you've worked instead say what you learned. I love to bring this thing here. be polite and confident. 3:30 slightly miming your interviewers posture.

0:25 get an initial read on you and your work ethic. best practices: 1:15 avoid the urge to check the phone or sit silently while waiting for the interviewer to arrive. 1:50 don't recite but share something personal that interviewer will remember. 2:10 don't be afraid to brag a bit about youself when asked. 2:25 tell me a time you worked through a challenging situation. a glaring problem that he only focus on himself - show leadership but it takes more than you to get a job done. 3:00 how will your strengths benefit our company? team-focused mentality. when we are in sync in a team then we could provide best result to customers. Connecting what other candidates say during interview. 4:15 mostly the coworkers will come to me when situation is a bit heated because i am able to diffuse them and come up with a solution. 4:30 she specifically referenced another candidate's answer in her response. showing that she is listening to the room and moving the conversation forward.

Here are some ethical tips to help you network more effectively and efficiently: 1. Identify your goals. What do you hope to gain from networking - new connections, job opportunities, industry insights? Having clear objectives will guide your approach. 2. Leverage your existing network. Reach out to friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances to ask for introductions to people in your target industry or role. 3. Attend relevant events and conferences. This allows you to meet people with shared interests and goals face-to-face. Come prepared with an elevator pitch. 4. Join professional associations or online communities. Participate actively by commenting, sharing content, and offering to help others. This builds your reputation. 5. Be a connector. When you meet someone who could benefit from knowing one of your other contacts, make the introduction. People will remember you as someone who adds value. 6. Follow up promptly. After making a new connection, send a personalized note to continue the conversation and suggest a next step, like a coffee meeting. 7. Offer value first. Look for ways you can assist others, whether through information, advice, or referrals. Givers gain in networking. 8. Maintain relationships over time. Check in periodically, share relevant updates, and be responsive when your contacts reach out. The key is to network strategically and authentically, rather than just trying to "network faster." Quality connections built on mutual benefit are more valuable than quantity.

I've taken the liberty of transcribing the video and formatting it to help people further. Today's date Your name Your address Dear Hiring Manager, *[get their name if you can]* *_Introduce yourself and enthusiastically tell the employer why you're applying for the job. Include why you're excited and how the job aligns with your career goals. Avoid sounding formulaic by adding keywords from the job posting._* As a kid, I loved building blocks - and flying blind. For me the joy was in imagining what could be, looking for inefficiencies, and making improvements. Fast forward to today, my career and passion have led me to apply for your Engineer position. *_The middle paragraph. Dig into your most relevant experience, and talk about the specific qualifications and skills that make you the perfect candidate. Make connections between your previous accomplishments. Employers will likely have read your resume already, so avoid repeating the bullet points. Instead, deeply illustrate those highlights._* With 10 years of experience, I know how to drive business results and collaboration. In my last role, I led a team of five to create a new procedure, cutting our beta testing phase by 12%. As a result, we saw a finished prototype weeks ahead of our competitors. I would love to bring both my technical and team building skills to help advance your growing team. *_To close the curtain, thank the employer. You can also make any clarifications - for example, any major gaps in employment history._* [no example provided] *Then provide a complimentary close and signature that's friendly, yet formal, followed by your name.* Sincerely, Your name

For anyone wondering how I changed the look of the text, KZread has a built in feature for this. Use _ for _italics_ , * for *bold* and - for -strikethrough- . Simply put the modifier at the start and end of the text you wish to modify. You can stack them, but make sure the end modifier is in the reverse order it started in.

I KNOW the human touch isnt untilaround step 3-5/ HR people have become a legal arm not a hiring arm. They exist for protection. Recruiters are actually low skilled employees that pul from a keyword database. Most companies already have whothey want in mind. AI has taken this job over and HR and recruiting will not exist within 5 years. They will be looking too.

How do I do expense reports? Is it hard? I obtained my administrative assistant certificate from my local junior community college. However, business math (statistics, accounting), excel and expense reports weren't part of the cirriculumn. Also, for my disability, remote work is the way to go. However on-site is fine, just more strenous for my setbacks. Just as good on the job ethic and work for me though. Any help would be most appreciated.
