How to Knit: PSO, PSSO & P2SSO Stitches | 'Pass Stitch Over' Knitting Tutorial

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video lesson demonstrates the pso, psso and p2sso abbreviations you will regularly see in your knitting patterns.
Pso just stands for Pass Stitch Over, and you'll likely already have carried out this action when binding off stitches.
Psso stands for Pass Slip Stitch Over, and will often be combined with other stitches - notably as 'sl 1, k1, psso' or 'sl 1, k2tog, psso' - to create popular decrease techniques. You may see these also referred to as 'skpo' and 'sk2po' respectively.
P2sso stands for Pass 2 Slip Stitches Over, and again is often combined with other stitches to create a decrease method i.e. 'sl 2, k1, p2sso', which is a centred double decrease that can also be abbreviated as 's2kpo'.
These terms are a common occurence in knitting so I thought I'd demonstrate popular uses for them.
I hope you find this useful!
