This is great timing. Redoing one cabinet space (adding it) and I was thinking of reorganizing some spaces.

I liked the tip about packaging. Actually, we usually open something like rice or dried chickpeas, and I put the rest in glass jars. I don't keep track of expiration dates for such products because they last long. But what i really enjoy and find helpful is that I can clearly see how much is left and try to cook it evenly, like not to let something stand in my cupboard for ages. It also helps to think of different dishes I can make with those products. I look at my jars and think OH WE HAVE TOO MUCH GRECHKA LEFT. NEED TO COOK SOMETHING WITH IT. A week ago, me and my boyfriend we moved into a new apartment and I was very inspired that I needed to find home for each item. I enjoy make my kitchen useful and tidy. When everything is organized your way, your home seems even cozier.

Oh the getting rid of the packaging helping with reducing waste and preventing overspending really does help me. I just make sure it fits the entire package.

Yes absolutely! That’s definitely key. I have a space in one of my cupboards too for backstock of flour, sugar, and other dry ingredients. Easy to refill as the jars get lower 🙌🏽

@@HaleyVillena we moved in August after living in the same house for 17 1/2 years. We had put in a nice pantry. The kitchen is quite a bit bigger than my old house, but no pantry. Unfortunately there are a couple different back stock spaces.
