hermit crab crazy no, Bodhi was a rescue and he never had them so he won’t go for them; also sometimes they can love the crickets and not eat the Pangea so I just buy the Pangea with insects so he gets the bugs without losing his want for the mix! Xo

Lori’s Hartland I give mine them twice a week and they still love pangea as long as they are eating Pangea regularly it won’t hurt for a cricket or 2 ❤️ and my cresties had never had any crickets and it took about 2 days and after introducing them to the crickets they starting eating them lol

Thanks for putting up this video! When I first had crickets as feeders they were loud, smelly, and reproduced waaay too fast. I figured it out the hard way, but its nice you made this so people will avoid the hassle of 'doing it wrong'

And yes...definitely ask for a piece of egg carton when you buy crickets. Don't assume the employees know. I got crickets from a pet store (Pet.....) and they didn't use cardboard. More than 1/2 the crickets were dead from being crushed and suffocated. Very good of you to note!

Cool now I know how to keep crickets alive if a ever get a animal that needs to eat crickets

I always put a wet paper towel folded in a little square in there. They love it and it’s easy to change out when you do the food.

Getting two orders of fries is genius. I always get sad once I finish fries before I get home 😂 I've just started keeping crickets again so there's more variety than just dubias (for my picky eaters🙄) I'll have to try the potatos, i've never done that one yet!

I tried potatoes slices too. They ignored them. Not sure why. They love that Cricket Quencher tho.

The bird was so cute 😭💓 I use these same tips for my crickets!! it just stinks (literally) that they die so easily..

I get 100 crickets delivered tomorrow and will definitely follow your advice. Also, my husband pulled the same crap in our attic with a sleeping bag, unrolled WITH a pillow! LOL

Great video! I haven't bought the Flukers cricket food bc I didn't really think it would make a difference in gut-loading them since I already give them a lot of veggies, but I think I might now if it seems to keep them alive longer. I have to buy 50-100 every week for my geckos, so they die fairly easy. Thanks for the tips!

I have a friend with a lizard. she feeds him crickets. I will pass on this info to her. u should tell ur husband to clean his stuff out everytime he drives ur vehicle. so it doesn't freak u out.

when i was 8 I used to literally have pet crickets. i would go buy new ones every week and they were my pets, i named each and every one of them, and i would be devastated when just one died (which obviously happened almost every single day)

To be honest I was buying the crickets from Petco & PetSmart I notice they will die quick so I decided to order on line from a cricket farm and honestly they have lasted me way longer then the ones from the pet store and they look way healthier and I can hear them chirping I started to do research and found out that’s the noise they make when there mating I put a bowl with soil in the container waited and the female laid her eggs so now I have my own colony and healthy cricket

My crickets like a wet clean sponge they all grasie together on the sponge and clean theyre head

I have a cricket pen and gutload mine for our pacman frog Boo with fresh fruits and veggies. I clean them out two times a week, so mine live extra long.

When having a pacman frog, are you allowed to feed them the dead crickets, or strictly live? I might be getting one soon and I'm just curious :)

I have tried doing freeze dried crickets but sadly I think my frog is picky. It may be the scent or something else but the live ones would most likely be better

My beardie loves mediums. He'll eat 20+ a day so I'm at the pet stores usually twice a week. I'm considering buying bulk from Amazon. Something like 500 or so. Just worried half will die before I can use them.

Just curious why do you get 36 crickets? Is it because it’s cheaper? I have to get at least 76 crickets in order to get the deal of .11 cents each lol if I get under 76 than it’s like .13 cents a cricket and boy does PetSmart and these other reptile shops count each and every one which is very long and annoying!

Hi so yesterday I woke up and I looked at my crabs to give them some food and I thought Sheldon one of my crabs was digging and like doing stuff but I actually do you want to change yourself and when he went to change his shell but when He was changing shells the other crabs were also doing that and they picked on him and he lost all his life and he only has three left I really don’t know what to do and he still alive please help me this never happened and I put them in a separate little enclosure

I love I love grasshoppers you’re so funny do you still want to run to the emerge so playful didn’t cause any harm and please don’t hurt them don’t even know they can scare you available I mean if you love them more and you get scared if every time they fall my grasshopper does not cause she’s in the tiny cage in his cage that my mom let him out I has mold in it and I have to grab it in the morning to wash it out really good so it doesn’t have mold in it really good like really good mold I need to wash it out so I can put him in that cage because I love my cricket 🦗 he is my and knowing it’s the touch him except me because I don’t want to want to Hurt 😞 Him I l Love him and nothings going to change that

Sounds like the husband needs his own truck. Honestly, trucks aren't meant to be pristine. They are meant to get work done. It's honestly a bit disappointing how Lori doesn't respect that. Her husband is paying for her to stay at home and he's busting ass having to stay in a tent... To pay her way? Have some respect dude. The least you can do is lend him a truck. Frankly it sounds like she never had a real job ever. Also crickets at petco are stupid overpriced. You're better off going to a local vivarium.
