How to Jump Start DEAD BATTERY of Your MOTORCYCLE or CAR!!

In this video, I tried showcasing how to jump start the dead battery of a motorcycle or car with another donor motorcycle battery or car battery. I used jumper cables to jump start my KTM Duke 390 from my Dominar 400. However, if you want you can use Heavy Duty Electrical wires instead of these jump cables.
The procedure is same for jump starting a car or a motorcycle which is as follows:
1. Connect one end of Red Cable to the Positive Terminal of the Donor Battery or the Live Battery.
2. Connect the other end of the Red Cable to the Positive Terminal of the Recipient or the Dead Battery.
3. Connect one end of the Black Cable to the Negative Terminal of the Live or Donor Battery.
4. Connect the other end of the Black Cable to a non-polished metal surface like a screw, etc.
5. Crank start the vehicle with the donor or live battery and let it run for 1-2 minutes.
6. Crank start the engine of the dead battery vehicle.
7. Let the engine run for at least 15-20 minutes once it is started so that the battery is charged enough for you to start your vehicle next time.
8. Remove the Black and Red Cables in the reverse order of how we attached them initially.

Which jumping cable you use amajon basic one or heavy duty one

For bike it must be of 8 gauge and for cars use 4 gauge nd for heavy vehicles like heavy car trucks tempo bus use 1 gauge

I use a heavy one which I bought from a shop.
One tip If you are not going to use your bike for longer periods, like in lockdown, just disconnect the positive terminal from the battery. This will ensure that the battery does not drain itself. It helps when you don't have a kick in your bike.

@@Rahul.patel48 ignition off ho to bhi there’s clock running in your bike and some other electricals as well. That’s why battery is drained even when ignition is off.

Bro get it checked at the service Center or a good technician using multimeter, etc. A faulty RR unit can cause engine to stop completely. Get it rectified or changed ASAP I cannot comment what’s going wrong with it but a proper electrician will be able to after checking everything 👍🏻
Is it necessary that the donor battery should be of the same voltage and current rating that of the dead battery?

It is recommended to be of same capacity. If not at least the voltage should be same to prevent hurting the electrical system
