The instructions say to press the boost only if the green light is flashing. Which means the battery voltage is low. Else there is no need to push boost button. Your green indicator was not flashing?

I did the same connections, and for the bike to start, I had to click the boost button. When the bike started, I kept it on for around 15 minutes. And then, when I removed the powerbank and tried to start without it, the bike doest start. Is the power bank faulty or the battery?

no , the power bank is not faulty , its only for emergency purpose , it might be the battery is dead and you have to take it to the desired service center for checkup.
