make sure the itunes you downloaded can detect your device, I initially had the same problem. Hope this helps.

Find the itunes folder and delete everything

from ios 9.3.5 to 6.1.3 on the 4s man, it was a hectic journey for sure! for those wondering, i used v2.3.8 u3tools for my final flashing and v11.2 itunes for final jailbreak gg and thanks!

install 3utools version 3 or newer then when you open it and it doesnt detect it then click repair driver. it worked for me with my iphone 4s on ios 6.1.3 :)

I can't open cydia because it keeps bootlooping in the preparing filesystem

Hi there. That happens and it is kinda tricky. Try the following steps: 1. Make sure your iPhone doesn't have a password. If it does, try to remove the lockscreen password first. 2. Restart the pc 3. Connect your iPhone 4. Open iTunes software 5. Open Pw20wnd software. 6. Wait for a few seconds and your iPhone should be detected by the jailbreak tool. If the steps above didn't work, try to change your cable or try changing the USB ports. Thank you. 🙌

@@ShanesTech If you install newer iTunes, it somehow broke up phone drivers for older itunes. The problem was solved by installing Windows 7 from scratch and itunes 11.1.5.

Well if you dont install itunes you cannot plug in your iphone because itunes has a built in iphone driver so technically it is a main component of the jailbreak

The latest version of iTunes won't work for the jailbreak. Keep the 11.1.5 and you can install the latest iTunes after the jailbreak. Thank you. 🙌

@@bboymounstruo1 I managed to recognize my iphone 4s by installing an old version of itunes 10, once it had recognized my iphone, I installed version 11 without uninstalling 10 and it worked.
