Also don't forget the exhaust bearings! Mine just went bad a couple weeks ago and it's making one hell of a rattle
Classic! Brings me back here a year later on April lmao
Honestly that towel trick is really really smart. Even for other fixes
Wish you uploaded this yesterday, was struggling big time replacing mine, but with your tips and tricks I now see it as a easy 5 min job!!

I’m glad the video helped! I had to get this out as quickly as possible but the videos take a while to film so today was when it had to go up unfortunately.
looking forward to this every year; blinker fluid, piston springs, Really impressive how you even got the box printed up. Top notch stuff.

You may not need to replace your exhaust bearings. I just fully clean mine in the dishwasher and re-lubricate them with bacon grease, and you should get another 50K miles out of them.

Didn’t even know wipers had brakes i thought it was a hydraulic system man I’m glad I’m subbed to Chris fix learning more about my car with each upload lol
The attention to detail is really impressive here. I've tried to follow multiple tutorials to do this (I don't do it often enough, like lots of us I'm sure) and this is the best one I've seen. The best on youtube most likely.

This is a great video by Chris. I'm a master technician of 25 years. I had a customer last week saying that their wipers were clapping the windshield when the wipers moves back into the resting position, even with new wipers. Come to find out that the wiper rotors were warped. I changed them and the wipers were back to normal. And I also replaced their blinker fluid with a new type of liquid with reflective particles to make their blinkers more bright. They were very satisfied.

Synthetic Blinker Fluid is the best. its rated for 10,000 blinks between changes.

please tell me you didn't forget to replace the muffler barrings did you? it's recommended to get them changed out every time you fill up with gas. but only on fill ups. if you just get a few bucks wprth at a time then they'll last forever.

The previous owner of my car lived on and only ever drove on a highway so he never went below 85mph. He deleted the brakes and I had no idea how to add them again! You've saved not only my life but everyone's around me when I'm driving! Thank you!

Thank you for the amazing video; it worked great, and when I finished the brake job, I also changed my tires from the old winter air to the new Spring fresh air. Thank you for keeping us well-informed. Tomorrow the alternator will get a fluid change because I have over 5000 miles on that fluid.

My man did so much work and put so much for effort for a shitpost that would confuse some mom AND still likes the comments. A true legend for our time.
It is such a simple repair, and I think that's why not a whole lot of people cover it on YT. Even my auto instructor from HS didn't go much in depth on this repair. So glad Chris finally made a video, can't tell you how many cars I've had to sell just because I didn't know how to fix the wiper brakes.
