Starting from Windows 10, it's better to go for WSL rather than the dual boot. It will save a lot of hard drive space and hassles.

There is no option between try ubuntu and install ubuntu

It should take between 15 to 30 minutes depending on the performance of your system and it is faster if you use a USB 3.0 pendrive
