I think you have taken the wrong img file for your device. check again.

you need a correct twrp boot image to run on cmd if you try a differebt boot image then your phone is getting to risk

Maybe you didn't unlocked your bootloader if you didn't install mi unlock tool and unlock bootloader do not click on the add account and device button are your gonna wait an about 168 hours or 7 seven days.
Is there any way possible to install TWRP without erasing data? Edit 1: I got a question. Was that just an optional step to root the device?

i think you have deleted a system file so it cannot mount it

At 3:29 , I tried the command (fastboot boot file.img). But it just restarted to normal OS and said this: failed (status read failed (too many links)). I am using Redmi 10 and unofficial TWRP (ver 3.6.1). Please help for me.

@@Arador1112 nope I didn't ... You cannot use a twrp recovery of a02s on a02 if not your phone will go into a bootloop..you can port a twrp recovery for a02.. but I just don't feel like doing it..

It is better to use specific TWRP recovery file otherwise system may appear. You should search more on google and you will definitely TWRP for your mobile.

yes, exact same or dedicated TWRP recovery. otherwise it break down and you will lose all data.

Hi, I have a SONY XZ1 currently running Android 9, and I am trying to install a twrp recovery onto it by using your video as a guide, but when you get to 3.24 in the video, the part where you drag the twrp.img file inti the cmd prompt I am having some difficulties. When I do this I get this message after pressing enter. fastboot: usage: unknown command bootC:\Users\Aztek\Desktop\SDK tools\platform-tools\twrp-3.7.0-poplar.img Could you please spare some of your time to try and help me resolve this? They dont do it for all the phone cause it will cost them a lot to actually buy these phones and configure a twrp img for them so instead they do it for the famous phone or most used phone from each brand

I think you are on a samsung device, Samsung devices do not have a fastboot mode.
