Can you link the spoiler that you installed the light under I want that on my car!!

Consider disconnecting the lower backlight it takes away from it. I've been doing these 3rd brake light strips for over 10 years now and I usually disconnect that lower light and reuse that same power source to connect the upper led strip

Raymond Sookram - man the tail light is behind the carpeting in the trunk. If you take a bumper off brother you are so lost. You take nothing out. Just pull carpet back on the side where the cord hangs. Left or right bud.

Hey Jovenell when you installed the brake light how do you place or align the led light so it won’t be covered by the roof spoiler when you install from inside the car and also if your windows are tented and for some reason the brake light doesn’t work anymore to remove the light the tented window will be damage right.

Well I purchase the roof spoiler first before installing the LED . where the roof spoiler ends inside of the car that’s exactly how I align the LED strip I just followed that line from the roof spoiler to aligned it and I did my measurements from the panel to the LED light strip on both ends of the window make Right in the middle

I don't understand, how did you splice it to your cars brake lights? I'm pretty sure cars don't just have extra spare connectors laying around for people to attach additional brake lights.

X Tian I have a limo tint to it shows the LED strip perfectly fine during the night but during the day it’s not as bright as it should be But you’re still able to see it

Probably stupid question but all my brake lights don't work. It's not the bulbs, fuses or switches. I even changed the relay. So my question is does this bypass the system or work off it? Trying to avoid an expensive car expense.

it only for touring trim which suck you'd have to buy the touring tail light harness and maybe have to get the touring portion of the brake light

Great video, I installed mine, I have a 2018 honda accord EXL.. I did all of the connections and notice the leds won't fade out when driving... My wiring is exactly like yours... I noticed the controller is cheap .. How's is yours working... Trying to figure out the connections to major it fade out...

Thanks for the great video. Have you ever considered to install LED brake light for the part above the reverse light? That will be awesome and no one has done that before. As far as I know, only the touring have that part light up.

Manny P in order for that portion to light up you would have to either buy the wire harness and the touring upper portion or you could just buy the new custom till late on my Newest video check it out

Yes it is possible for youd have to take two rear panel off inside of the car in order to get to the third brake light And disconnected it

Very nice...I'm on the same tip even have Maybach curtins in mine.....Plz make a video showing how to take off rear deck where the speakers are....rattle vibration is driving me crazy from my JL Audio......For you take off your license plate and put carpet padding or such behind it makes a huge difference

@@1.5thondaacord God bless you....I got the x light easy to install Thanks to your videos but I guess it got damage on the way here so I'm waiting for a new ..I got the L.E.D Accord illuminated scuff plates💪 on the way for all 4doors & a 3 piece clip for front bumper gives a sporty finnish..Your new brake lights are spot on perfect.Last $1k or so will go under the hood for Torque &HP.....Cool air intake & Hondata software.....when I pull up to Benz and Beamers I feel like my shit looks nicer for 2/3 less plus I got the 10 speed so they can't punk me either...lol

Due to my car being a 2018 the wiring color or wiring diagram is probably different so I would check first

The 3M tape is pretty good I got it at Home Depot cost $20 It’s permanent double-sided Extreme mounting tape

I noticed you have tint in the rear. Maybe you should cut it off where the LED strip is and put the strip right on the glass.

@@1.5thondaacord I found the 3rd brake light. It is on the trunk. But it was not noticable since I am so used to the Hondas having their 3rd light on the inside of the car. Still going to put up the brake light inside as you did, as the 4the brake light on my car.

Listen, for your information.. After finding out wire connections for the 2018 honda accord EXL.. Same wire trim.. Black - ground Purple- ( note) - this is the data wire .. Didn't know this ( be very careful)... Communication Brown - relay ground Gray - brake light... I ordered a different one from Amazon ... Outputs, black, red and white Black- ground Red - hot 12volt White- brake light.. For information only.......

If you remove it the glass will be clear. You can just let the whole light assembly there but disconnect its wires then tap the audi lights there.

In order to do that I believe you're going to have to remove the rear panel in the back which requires moving the seats It's a lot of work but I probably might do that once I get speakers done

Thats nice, but your trunk brake lights are not working. You must have done something wrong. The upper lens on the trunk part of the taillights should also light up when the brake is applied.

My trunk brake lights never worked since I bought the car from the dealer. I also have noticed that 9 out of 10 accords I see on the road doesn’t have working lights on the trunk either. Any advice?
