Got my SP Negative camber strut mounts and I'm getting ready to do the installation with my new KW V2 Coilovers. Luckily, back when I did my Emmanuel Design lowering spring upgrade I bought upper strut bearings new, but didn't end up using them cause I figured my bearings were good. They were... for about 12,000 miles before they failed. So, at least now I have the bearings on hand and the front struts will be fresh with 100% new parts 👍🏻 If your lowering your car anywhere over 20,000 miles I would just bite the bullet and get new bearings while you're at it.

Kevin Hannon make sure you line up the bushings inside those camber tops to keep it from squeaking

Installed these with the proper torque on OEM springs and shocks. The inner bush was pre-lubed as per their manual and was only mentioned to lube the other part during fitment which was done. There is no loud noise as such but on imperfections you can hear mild thud noises.. it isn't very loud and if you are even at basic volume of music, you won't hear it. Just wondering what is it that's causing it. The handling of the car has transformed and it's brilliant now. Any insights would help immensely.

There is always going to be more noise because of the firmer bushing and metal. I added more grease to mine but it was for squeaking and I don't think it is your problem. Crank the tunes and hit the corners.

@@TheEddysGarage yes I have no squeaks.. very mild thuds. But it’s only if you are focusing your attention there. I moved from kw coilovers to OEM due to busted shocks. With these, I find the control and turn in to be as good if not better. The cornering and steering feel has become super. Front alignment shows -2.06 and -2.04 which is as good and equal as it gets. Glad to know it’s not just my car that has this noise.

It wasn’t shown on camera but did the mechanic open up the superpro camber mount via the screws and pack the mount with the lithium grease? I saw that he greased the bearing but not the mounts.

Yes we opened them up and loaded them with grease. Whiteline released their new camber top this week that adds negative camber and caster.

Hi, I'm a bit confused... so just to be clear (because the video didn't show it) you packed more grease into the superpro strut mounts? I see in the vid you re-packed the OEM strut bearing, but where did you put grease into the superpro? Would you recommend doing this when they are new? I'm about to put KW V2s in my car with a new set of OEM strut bearings, and I'm definitely getting a set of the super pros. I'd hate to have to take the suspension back out months later due to a squeek. Thanks.

Kevin Hannon I put them in and they squeaked like crazy so we pulled them out and greased then up. Just open them up and lube them up like a hot mom. There is a Polly bush inside

Im curious to know why SuperPro didn’t lube them before sale or at least have a warning.... do you need to run these in conjunction with the SuperPro lower control arms? Or can you also use them as a stand-alone?

VolksBIMA this was one of the first kits they made and I believe they come with grease now. I have stock control arms with Whiteline springs and swaybars

Loowie P they are fine on the road. They only add about -1° of negative camber so fine on the road. But combined with lowering gives you about -2.5°

So putting the grease in it can reduce noise? Why choosing those instead of those from 034?

Yes the bushing inside was squeaking and the grease totally stopped it. I prefer suspension part from suspension companies and also supporting local Australian business but as a bonus the Superpro tops are cheaper here than the 034 option.

Grip in corners was massively improved with the camber. I didn't notice any change in NVH after the grease fixed the squeaking. I highly recommend getting these on any MBQ car doing track work.

victor chen they only fit stock diameter springs so check with super pro on compatibility with kw coilovers
