@monkeyman1311 no, but when you have it installed, you are not allowed to play on vac-secured servers until it is uninstalled. However, you can still play online campaign with your friends and singleplayer

It works fine but i got a problem if i open the admin menu u get 3 things but i also want the objectives and the weapon spawn plugin

good video bro but uh after i download ALLLLL of that the sourcemod well able to the game or i gotta to do another thing? because i have download the sourcemod and i have install it then i have download the witch control mod i think you know it why he don't need to work? i have installed the sourcemod why he don't need able to th game? Guys, if you want everything to work properly do this: In Steam-Library, right-click Left 4 Dead 2 Click "Properties" Then click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" (Should be on the first tab, looks like a button) Add "-insecure" to it. There you go, now everything should work. Like so other people know. (If you have problems just reply to this).

just a note if you find sourcemod isn't working, you actually have to start a game first and do it ingame

When I start the lobby it is (local server) when it is on its loading screen the screen turns black help me!!

@Awesomeadrian1 did u remember to type it while playing a running game?

if you have steam (i don't know for non-steam) go to game properties and click launch options and just delete "-insecure" and press ok and it should work. because of the -insecure the game understands that their is a mod in the game files and doesn't let you join any game. Hope this helps.

I didnt understand what you were saying when you need to put your steam id in the admin_simple notepad file, i am reading it and it seems confusing where i need to put my id in. can u please help me?

for non-steam make a left 4 dead 2 shortcut and right click on it select properties and in the target box make sure you don't have -insecure in it

The lag depends on your internet and the location of your and your friend's spot.

First time, it said no plugins without -insecure, so i do that, launch singleplayer, and it diddn't work metamod_version.

@TheLobogm Just to let you know this isn't my youtube profile but there is a certain file in the metamod folder that has to be deleted or else it crashes on start up, had the same problem, googled it, metamod is the problem and now my metamod doesn't work D:

the only things that is in the properties on mine are: General, Web Document, Security, Details, and Previous Versions

Left 4 dead 2 is changed now. Open up your Steam. Go to Library. Right click your L4d2. click properties. Press "Set Launch Options" then type -insecure. That will make it so you CAN'T connect to VAC secured servers as long as you have -insecure in the launch options, but you can run a local server & have Sourcemod working.
