It's not mandatory. No problems accord to me at all. But you will lose NFC that the only drawback.

@@yasfi5196 some people told me thay have lost their IMEI after installing th uk customized rom. Then i told them to install IBE customized it solved the problem. But non of these happened to me. I've flashed my device more than 7 times for various testings but never accord a signal issue.

It worked with my xz2 and the only problem I found yet was disabled NFC and tap twice on the fingerprint scanner to unlock I installed the Italy Customized IT version

While installing flashtool you will get couple of errors. Thats normal. But errors like usb not installed will give you if usb drivers not installed to your device or usb cable is damaged. The IBE costomized ROM is better. But you can try asian global roms aswell.

No you don't need to update your current OS. By flashing using new flasher all your previous opeeating system will get erased. So no need to update current OS.

if you are looking for price to performance and great quality screen. the xz3 is the best pick bro. But if you are looking for battery life this is not perfect but not bad also. At normal usage I'm getting around 4hrs and 30 mins screen on time normally. with normally 2hrs of KZread 1080p playback and using other social media stuff.

@@musetycablues In my opinion I prefer xz3 mainly because of the display. if you like nice quality display ho for xz3 its worth it. Idk much about xz3 premium. but extra 1 camera is black and white camera i think. If it is telephoto or ultrawide it may be a good option. but I don't think losing amoled display for B/W camera is worth it.

No you don't need root acces for this mate. You can do this to even on a bricked sony device. Yes you can use this method for xzs. Sone say docomo version gets problems but for au and SoftBank versions this method works without any problem. Italy, costomized UK and IBE customized are some of good ROMs.

@@Mr.Detached have your device refurbished or disassembled for repair? Check the screen is lifted more than usual. If that's the reason proximity sensor is detecting glass as barrier and turning off the screen.
