No need to do this, Replace au OEM file with global OEM file in firmware, you will get a full function sov38. Flash xz3 oem hk again, you will get 4g.

Go to the xda link and download the latest xpirifirm version and try again. It wpuld wprk surely.

Hi, just to give u feedback. I bought xz2 premium because it had an a feature of an inbuilt answering machine. Unfortunately after I bought it, I realised it was in Japanese. Now the inbuilt answering machine wasnt working since it needed some settings but the whole shit was in Japanese. Nonetheless after I saw this video I thought may be this firmware can help only to be left disappointed once again since the whole answering machine doesn't even exist on your global firmware. Unfortunately in my country there is no voicemail offered by the service provider nor does any of the international apps like Google vm or youmail work here. Do u have a solution to this or another firmware I can use? Please let me know. Thanks

Custom rom is not possible because bootloader of any japan variant cannot be unlocked.

I haven't tried it on newer models like the one you have. It won't work I think.

Allow usb debugging. Make sure drivers are installed too. Try again after doing so.

Yes, it will. Just download and flash the equivalent global rom for your device pref uk or italy.

No. Download firmware for the exact model. This method doesn't work mostly for docomo.

It doesnt matter where you are. It depends on the model. It won't for docomo handsers. NFC won't work
