This is by far the best tutorial for installing a spoiler. Perfect camera shots and detailed directions. I’ve watched several of these now as I’m about to attempt it and this one blows the rest out of the water. Awesome job, thanks for taking the time to share this.

It's typically the stepper bits that most individuals have to order. Overall the job was fairly easy; the template just made the job quicker and smoother.

Thank you very much and good question. For this car, it's basically cosmetic.

Nissan keeps sending the wrong parts. They send the same part 84433 ja000 labeling the other one 84432 ja000 but they are identical and don't fit on the left side. Any suggestions on how to get Nissan to correct this?

Open up the driver side door and look at the sticker on the door jam. There should be an area labeled "Color" (or something similar). This is your paint code (e.g. RBD, RBH, KAD, etc). If you provide that, we can Google search your assigned paint color.

I think I will reinstall the ones that come from the factory because the glass can break because of how fast it opens and thank you very much for your video, I installed my spoiler

Is there any way I can get the spoiler template? I bought a new spoiler (same as this one) but it was missing the template. It would make the install so much easier. Excellent video. Thank You

I'm sorry to say, I through the template out once I was done with it, I really wish I kept it. I'm sorry. I'm guessing the supplier is unable to mail you the template? @@mcgurrentertainment I installed the spoiler today. Luckily not my first one without a template. It amazingly came out perfect. There is one thing I do not like though. That is the rear window third brake light. I do not see a delete kit for it. All others I did deleted the window brake light as it is now in the spoiler. Wow it looks good though

Just in case anyone needs it. The third brake light delete cover is Part# 79966-9HM0A Labeled as a cover for rear parcel shelf. My OCD would not let me live with leaving the third brake light lol

Why did you replace torsion rod ?

The OEM torsion rods provide the ideal spring tension for a trunk without a spoiler. The new rods have a higher spring tension to account for the extra weight of the spoiler. Basically, when you pop the trunk, it fully opens with ease.

Any chance you still have that template still ??

I am buying it from nissan dealer through. Nissan factory car. Parts Period Nissan doesn't seem to be able to Send the right parts. 3 dealers all show the same thing. The wrong parts even though they're labeled. Wit h the right part number.
