Hi there. I should be picking up my new (to me) 2019 T6 camper in mid January. It has the standard factory head unit installed and, after seeing this video I think I will be paying you guys a visit to get it upgraded to the alpine unit being installed here. I am seriously impressed by the amount time and care given to this install, cutting and soldering, cloth taping and cable tying for example. Good job, and hope to see you sometime early next year.

Good video! What I do not see however, is where the AM antenna plugs in. I’m in the process of finding out how to replace my Panasonic head unit in my brand new 2023 Toyota RAV4. It lacks AM and is quite a basic head unit. But how am I to know whether an Alpine head unit will fit my 2023 RAV4 or not? Toyota doesn’t want to be cooperative at all. They won’t tell me if there still is an AM antenna for example….Will the steering wheel connections still work, does the Toyota factory updates for the car still come through as this goes over the air or via a USB stick connected to the existing Panasonic head unit? Too much for me to figure out without the cooperation of Toyota. I do not care about DAB, I never use it. I use internet radio instead. DAB will be overshadowed by internet radio, it already is a lost battle for DAB. So I hope you can shed some light on this for me hard to do job. Thanks, Willem, Hekelingen, Holland.

Hi is this unit compatible with the Alpine SPC-1061 and SPC-D84AT6 that i currently have fitted in my T6.1.

I installed mine and my battery dies every couple of days. Are you able to advise - I would really appreciate it.

Great video. Is the mic any good in the facia or is it better to route to ceiling?

Hi, could be posible to confirm the manufacturer and model of the fascia kit? I was looking for it in Amazon and Ebay and found a few that look the same, but the descriptions are not very clear or mention that is just for Transporters until 2015 (mine is from 2018). It's possible that the mount the same one?

A month ago I bought the Alpine Halo11 iLX-F115T6, and I would like to install it on my Volkswagen T6 Multivan Highline car from year 12-2015. Having the APF-X300VW Installation Kit. We assembled everything but it doesn't work, basically the screen lights up for 2-3 seconds and then goes off. I would like to know if maybe you can help me to make it go. Hello Muresan, Thank you for getting in touch! It is hard to know what the issue is as we have not been involved in the installation. I would start again, and follow our instructions within this video very slowly, step by step. Have fitted the two-legged mini plastic section that you slot in after fitting the screen but before you install the outer casing? This is very important and enables the Halo to work. im having the same problem with halo 9.

I have a Alpine i905 and I have problems with my s21 ultra mirroring from my phone to the headunit via hdmi input, it works for a few minutes then it glitches and the alpine headunit goes blank? Can you help me find out what could be the problem?

Hi Blackbird, Thank you for getting in touch! If you have an Alpine fitted in your T6 then it will be the 'Pre-Ignition Start-Up Option' that needs setting to 0mins. Beautiful video...but protection from the thieves? It seems easy for theves to steal it

This head unit is trash. Screen is terrible and not very responsive and slow. Pre amps left and right are 2v. Menus are terrible and not user friendly.
