Installing the VW T6 / T6.1 plug and play, Alpine 6-Channel DSP Amplifier & Subwoofer System

This is an easier enough task if you have the right tools, a bit of time and these instructions. The kit also comes with printed instructions to refer to. If you don't fancy trying it yourself, show this video to your local audio installer and hopefully it'll speed up their work and save you a few quid :)
This kit is now in my van and I'm really impressed. I'd always planned on having a fancy high end expensive audio install. After having this installed, I just can't justify it as this Alpine adventure plug and play kit sounds so good. I'm honestly soooo impressed.
The next thing we'll do on the audio is fit rear speakers to this van which we'll also feature in a coming video.

Plug and play loom, but yes it doesn't need some work for it to be a tiny install.

Hi Andy, As well as the front alpine speakers upgrade and sub. Would you recommend to upgrade rear speakers in the drop-down storage compartment ? And how to access the speakers in the rear side panel ? Can the stock head unit handle new speakers without an amp? Cheers, Rowan
Great video, but definitely confirms I’ll get a professional to fit mine. I’d be left with several screws once everything was back fitted 😂

I bought the Alpine speakers and I don't know if to get the Alpine 6-Channel also.. i don't need subwoofer, but it comes as package
Which fuse box did he insert the fuse?
I’ve got 6x9 rear speakers which are harnessed into the head unit using dedicated wiring loom would it make sense to wire them to the amplifier?
Can these be fitted in a T5?
I’m defo not attempting this 😂

Can it go under passenger sest. I've got a Heater coming through that seat so presume won't fit.

Will the sub fit in a T5.1 California?

It's design to go with the T6 speaker kit. We do make a T5.1 adaptor version. Then it will work
Can I add this to a T5.1 with a Kenwood DMX7017DABS head unit?

Yes but you need a different loom for aftermarket stereos.

All that work in a lovely new van to fit a mediocre sub and amp. If you're going to that extent might as well fit something decent 🙄 Alpine brilliant headunits, subs and amps not so much
