Great!
This is the easiest explanation and tool of them all. I actually used a shorter pen to twist some as my screwdriver was a little long to fit between the welded wire. I'll use a pair of pliers to pinch the other end. Thanks, Tim.

Works fine with 1 strand. If it's field fence use a 16 or 20 penny nail or a Allen wrench. They work freat

Those are nice!
That’s looks easy to do with just a single strand of wire, but I think that’ll work for any type of link fencing.
@RidgeLife
Жыл бұрын
For sure
What are the specifics on that wire you have on the fence? I need to put a fence around my septic field at my new house. I used flimsy electric fence wire to pass inspection but probably need to put some hard wire up using the clips I bought to last longer. Thank you in advance.
@RidgeLife

I used straight wire from tractor supply. You can get it in double with no barbs too. Very strong!
Thanks for direct info without a lot of stupid and annoying intro music and chatter

Thanks! I’ve learned that is a waste of time as I started doing this. Forgive the earlier videos! Ha!
Quick question...I am installing a wire fence like this for a small garden. How did you do the 90 degree corners with your t-posts and clips? I have a feeling these clips won't work very well when bending the wire for a 90 degree turn....
@RidgeLife
3 жыл бұрын
I didn’t do turns. I started new runs to secure each strand. Good luck!
I like the video! Why is the top of the T post white?
@RidgeLife

For visibility.
I'm looking to build a fence like this, what are the search terms for the wire length, is it just a certain gauge steel wire?
@RidgeLife
Ай бұрын
Search straight wire fence.
Now make a video showing how to pull a t-post out of the ground. That’s my problem with t-posts

Wrap a chain around it attached to a 2x4 and a fulcrum of some sort. Like a tire or a chunk of 4x4. Use leverage to lift it out kinda like an engine hoist does.

Sorry but its wrong just trying to help you and I build alot of fence. You keep doing you and I will keep doing me and we will have to respect each others way
@OffGrit
Жыл бұрын
@@rville5 ok so since you have declared that you have done a lot of fencing... Your statement is automatically correct....no that's not how it works. In fact if you want to go into this further, it would depend on if there was a barb right next to the t post as to which way you would orient the clip. It makes absolutely NO difference to the structure of the fence. If you even look up videos from fencing companies you will see it done the way he showed (orientation wise)
@hostilesavage4299
6 ай бұрын
@@rville5you are right. I agree. I seen the clip in this video is the wrong way 😂
Why you put them on upside down and make it to tight? The wire needs to slide a little .
@RidgeLife
3 жыл бұрын
Hmm. It was the way the clip instructions on the package indicated and the way I was shown years ago. They slide very well. Thank you.
That will not hold against sheep. This guy is wrong.
@RidgeLife
2 ай бұрын
Why would you use three strands of single wire for sheep? This was just a barrier fence for vehicles. For livestock, you would need a different setup. But it’s the same principle with the clip.
Nope. Not how they’re designed to go on
