I purchased this in Aug. after the first big rain storm it was leaking, not from the installation but from the glass. At first, I thought okay a bad door, so I contacted the company. After making me jump through numerous hopes, their solution was to send me replacement glass that I must now install. By this time it has been 2 months of the runaround, so I thought something was better than nothing. Well, I have still not received the part to fix and now there is no more contact with them. I can understand a bad door slipping through once and awhile, but they have horrible service and could care less about you.

The locking ball at the top of the door does NOT align with the locking ball.

They're using Ryobi power tools that should tell you all you need to know

These videos are good....but they are dealing with a square and plumb RO.....they never tell you that nothing is square and plumb lol!

Adjust the hinges with L keys

At 3:29 in video it shows a striker plate for stationary door lock. Mine didn't come with one. Where can I get 1?

Sooo, I purchased a set of Left hand Inswing French doors and as I was installing it, I realized the swing door with the handle is on the right... and yes, I did install it correctly. Ugh.

We bought 3 of these doors from Jeldwen...horrible doors! We had leaks in all 3!!

@@ericmelton8832 Jeld-Wen French doors are JUNK! It has nothing to do with installation because mine were installed exactly as instructed. The doors leak and you never know it until your sub-floor and joists are already damaged. Then you say you don't have a warranty for wood rot when it is INSIDE the body of the door between the metal. Junk!!!

Just let me know when you want to get it done

Jeldwen SUCKS!! I worked for them in klamath falls for a week and it just meth heads building these. As a framing carpenter i try to avoid this company at all cost. Cascade is far better.

What was the reason you quit? Just curious. I did a google map search to find the factory and the street view shows basically empty parking lots all around the fabrication building. They sell these at HD and I was considering them, that's why I'm asking. I also found there is currently a lawsuit around the former CEO for overstating earnings or something.

Do not buy these type of doors from this company people they are bad when installed they do not close rite

I purchased a set of Jeld wen French doors… absolutely the worse set of doors I ever installed!!! “Pre-hung”… baloney! Everything including hinges, brick mold was sloppy and crooked. Even the plastic frames around the glass windows were over torqued causing ripples in the door. What a waste of time and money! Never again!! Absolute trash! Embarrassing to a contractor to unpack these things in front of the homeowner!

Awesome solutions for wooden project is stodoys.

Do yourself a favor and by a different brand of door. These are junk.

Hilariously fake. No stucco, no real rough opening, no complex fins to extract.

I wish I had seen this first. Pure junk. Lowes and Jeld-wen refuse to take responsibility.
