*Great unit that’s easy to install and use. It’s relatively quiet compared to window units and **Fastly.Cool** , and it cools down our whole living room, side room and bathroom; which is a large space for any unit to cool.*

Thank you for the CLEAR wiring section with explanation. So many videos gloss over that part, which is the most important part! Thank you!

This is the BEST video I have found to explain how to wire! I am reinstalling an old fan I had in my previous house. I lost my manual and do not even know the name brand of the fan.The other videos go so fast and do not explain what wires to connect where. Thank you so much!

That's not even a fan rated box , he thinks because it's an existing box it's ok. It's not
Looks great, and with a brighter bulb installed that’s all the light you need. kzread.infoUgkxWF88GpljEn-0o34vtLFazEQ5h5Q33SjU As far as ease of installation- this was my first ceiling fan and it took about 3 hours because I had no idea what I was doing and also it’s helpful to have a second set of hands and a magnetic drill bit. Works great.
Just did my first ceiling fan installation with the help of your video. Thank You and God bless.
Your awesome dude!!! I'm not an electrician and the wiring was confusing to me. I simply watched your video and wrote down the wire hookups. My youngest son read them off to me and it worked to perfection. Thanks a million!!!
Thank you SO much! It was taking me forever to find a video on how to wire my fan with the same color wires that are in my ceiling. You really helped me out, Thanks!
So, I have the directions that came with the fan BUT the unit I live in is 50 years old and there were a bunch of wires stuffed in the ceiling. After watching your video, I realized I had to dig, and I mean dig a black wire out. What you said about doing the 'hot' last made so much sense! All other videos I watched didn't mention it. Thanks for keeping it simple but smart! I just installed a ceiling fan (patting myself on my back)
FINALLY, a clear shot of the wiring in a ceiling fan video... thanks!

Thanks for the video! My wife and I installed our first ceiling fan using this video!!! Thanks again!
this guy seriously provide great instructions it was a breeze installing my first ever ceiling fan great job
The blue wire is for the light, and the black wire is for the fan! Been that way on the thousands of fan's I've installed, except a lot of the Hunter fans I've installed the light wire is black with blue stripes on it.
first thing you do is switch of the power.

The black wire is for the fan. The blue wire is for the light. The white wire is neutral. Green or copper is ground. I hope this helps.

I just had to re-install an ancient relic of a fan. I knew what the black, white and green wires were and I suspected the blue was for either the fan or the lights but wasn't sure which or how to connect the whole thing together! Thanks!
Thank you SOOO MUCH for this!!! This was the easiest to follow tutorial I could find!!! I'm installing my new fan tomorrow morning!! Yaaayyy!! 😊
Can't thank you enough, Joshua. Great explanation. Saved me lots of many getting fans installed and I did it myself!
Tyvm. Installed my first ceiling fan in my home yesterday thanks to your help with wiring process.😁🤗
Switch off power first ! Otherwise perfect tutorial. Clear and to the point with good camerawork. Great job

This was swift and direct. I got the info I wanted and did the job. Thanks.
This is a very good vid to show how to wire the fan when you have only one switch for the light and the fan . I wish it continued to explain the pull chains.

One chain controls the light on the ceiling fan, the other controls the speed of the fan motor.
Good short video tells it like the way it should be installed. Thanks.......
Nice and clear! Thanks to share with us your knowledge, you save my installation.
Thank you🥰 your explanations and the close ups showing how and what to do were clear and helpful!
Thanks for the video, I was able to install my ceiling fan properly, thank you

Do you like this fan. If you don't like it, remove it
Gotta’ IDIOT proof your video, telling folks to turn off the power at the breaker first. But aside from that, EXCELLENT tutorial video. Thank you!
Thanks, it was not 100% clear that the light was hot in my instructions. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
You make it look so easy! Thanks!
Very well explained, exactly what I was looking for!

I was gonna say that, why wouldn't he say that was the first thing... you never know who's watching these videos
You did a nice job minus not twisting the wires together before screwing on the wire nuts. Always twist the wires together before applying the wire nuts.
@tripleprinciple2760

Yes especially the hot ones. He didn’t twist the most essential ones that can cause a fire. Odd
When you are buying parts for this project, don't forget box connectors (also called "Romex" connectors) for the ceiling box wire. This is an Electrical code MUST. A 1/2" connector (also called a 3/8" connector in some circles), is installed in the pancake box shown and the house wiring is pushed through it and secured snugly (don't over-tighten) with the screws provided.
Thanks man, this tutorial helped!
Best KZreadr ever! Straight forward to the point.
Excelent explaination, thank you
You made my day! Thanks! Better than Home Depot videos.
I cannot believe i used to pay $150 per fan! Thank you for the video. 🙌🏼
Multiple hots. Got it. Thanks!
Grade simple video, appreciate it. What if I don’t see the copper ground wire coming from the supply circuit in the ceiling the outlet box
How do you wire a Hunter 53033 fan that has a remote to 2 pre-wired switches. One switch for light and the other for a fan speed control switch. What fan speed control switch is recommended.
best ceiling fane video ive watched thank you
Thanks, this video was a great reference!
This helped me I always tried to twist the wires together then put on the wire but I never knew u could put them side by side and just twist the wire nut
Excellent simply done ✅ Thank you 🙏🏻 I subscribed
Excellent video. Thanks.
ehowathonechannel; I’m curious how the fan can actually be truly grounded since the frame with the ground coming out of it is actually insulated by the extension rod ball? It seems that an actual ground coming from the fan light housing itself would be a more solid path?
This guy is good I didn't know shit about how to install a ceiling fan and he walked me through step by step thanks
Very clear explanation!
hi I like the way you explain I want to know how to wire the fan and light to 2 gang botton switch...right now its installed to use 1 gang botton switch it controlls both things.
What about a prewire for two switches one light and one fan power or with remote.
Well explained, thank you
Straight to the point thx for the video
This is a Very good vídeo, an easy... Thanks...
If I wanted to wire this up so that the light and fan are on separate wall switches how would I go about that? ( I do not have a red wire) I have 2 whites, 2 blacks and 2 grounds coming from the box in the ceiling.
Thank you very much.
Thanks so much. Great explanation!!
When I took my fan down to fix it, I noticed the ground wires weren't connected and just and just hanging there? But when I replaced my ceiling fan box, I wired the grounds together

Yea it doesn't hurt if one is not connected but make sure to connect them. Protects you in a electrical surge.
Thank you so much I always believe it was more complicated.
Very good I will do it tomorrow.Yor are genius.Great, your family is right.
no the black is the fan wire and the blue is the light
I have installed ceiling fan with light, the fan has its own switch and the light has also its own switch.. i want to remove them both and replace with just a conventional light fixture. can you please help me out.
Thanks man. I had that bare wire left over and didn't know what the heck to do with it LOL

Question. Hoping you’ll see this expediently. As I just bought the fan. I’m going from a ceiling fan with a light, to a ceiling fan with no light. Can I just cap the existing wire for light source with a plastic screw nut?
I have black, white, and red coming out of my ceiling, but my new ceiling fan has Black, white, and blue wires, plus the ground wires. Do I hook up the blue to the red??
I did it with you help...thank you

Ok i have a red, white, black, and copper wire from ceiling. On fan, there is blue, white, black and green. The switch has a dimmer. I hooked up red to blue, black to black, white to white, and copper to green. Lights(blue red) work but motor (black)does not. I disconnected the black from fan and tied to red and blue. Motor turns but loud humming noise. And it’s regulated with dimmer now. I know this isn’t the right way to connect fan but I’ve had the same problem in another room. I’m assuming the black wires are not live. Do I need an electrician????
What does the white wire from the fan go too
