One more tip is that if you still have problems with foggy glasses, fold a tissue into a rectangle and put it right underneath the bendable nosepiece. I'm a medical professional and have done this for decades--it helps immensely as long as the tissue isn't too big or too small.

@@Praise___YaH Viruses also live in the secretions from your nose and lungs. So dude your snot could carry millions of virus particles. When you sneeze, you spray them into the air around you. Others breathe them in and the virus starts to reproduce in your nasal passages and other mucus membranes. Masks help keep your snot and spit out of the air, which helps keep others safer. They are not 100% but they do offer some protection to you and others. If you don't think viruses live in nasal secretions, look it up in an online biology book.

I have two additional tips: Firstly, I also use medical first aid "Paper Tape" to tape down the tucked in part, on the inside of the mask. I use two tiny strips for each tucked in 'pocket', that tapes the gap closed. (A bit of the tape, I let over the edge to tape over from the inside to the outside.) This way, if I take my mask off temporarily, the pockets don't become untucked, which would reopen the gaps. My 2nd additional tip is: to use a child's tiny ¼ inch (?) miniature "claw clip" which I use to clip one ear loop to my hair just above my ear. This way, if I temporarily take my mask off, it stays dangling securely from one ear without falling off or blowing off in the wind. 🙏

This mask will not have any effect on your safety..please research the meaning of N95 or any other RPE …respiratory protective equipment. Please also research the particle size of the virus and also research aerosolisation of the particle and how it is spread. You will then be better informed as Doctors are not always aware of how products are manufactured….worth researching. Even 3M , probably the most reputable and highest quality manufacturer will not state that any of the masks commonly worn are resistant to virus of 0.06micron to 1.1micron.

I love this idea especially for my mom ( 92 ) she’s got to have the smallest ears , then if the masks hits her mouth she’ll start taking big breaths , telling me I can’t breathe ! I’ve made different types of masks & nothing helps , especially the fogging of glasses! I know this’ll work great idea ‼️😛 I’ve already shared this ( video) with my sister & friends !

I tried on one of the N95 masks that are being given out free. These masks use 2 straps that go on over your head. One of them then goes behind your neck and the other goes behind your head. While these masks do provide a complete seal on your face, they are very cumbersome to use. Great for surgery purposes, but an overkill for everyday use. The newer N95 masks use straps that go behind your ears - much much easier and less hassle.

For years doctors and other health professionals have used masks to protect themselves and now some idiots question the efficacy of the masks in protecting against Covid-19. My response to those who are challenging the efficacy of masks when used properly is: please stop-- just do what you want to do. Do what you want to do and stay the hell away from the rest of us. You have rights-- so do we and it's our right not to want to share your germs.

Also there are some surgical masks that don't bend very well to secure the nose area. Guess they're cheaply made masks, so I go to one place I know to get the better quality. Thanks for sharing this other method. I will definitely be feeling safer after this.
