HOW TO IMPROVE PASSING A RUGBY BALL | HOW TO PASS A RUGBY BALL ACCURATELY
The first in a playlist we will be doing!
Ex international rugby player and RFU Level 3 Rugby coach Ryan De La Harpe demonstrates how to throw with accuracy. Whilst many rugby player may practice passive thousands of times, Ryan aims to show what has worked for him throughout his career and what he shares with the players he coaches. He explains how warm up is so important and building up strength in the forearms. He shares numerous tips which we hope will be beneficial for any one wanting to learn how to pass, improve their pass and level of accuracy. It should also help you with passing a rugby ball from your weak side and also help with passing a rugby ball further (more videos on these topics coming up) If you found this video useful, please comment below!

Love this, ive coached for over 20 years, some of it at a decent level. I have twin 10 uear old grandkids who play at halfback, doing one to one coaching is totally different to coaching a team, ive been doing much of what you do but there are some excellent points that i should have incorporated but have not. Thanks! this video will improve my input and hopefully their outcomes.

Hi Geraint I hope you and your family are doing well, thanks for taking the time to watch this video clip and for sharing your thoughts. Hopefully it can help and improve their game. Cheers
Watching this. Even I don't watch nor play Rugby, I think I can follow the steps as my home work out.Ryan is a pro in talking in front of the cam. This is just a warm up ,but to me this is a full body work out. I'd be dead tired after. Lol.. the bucket trick was wow

Thanks so much Michelle 😊
My daughter and I enjoyed this. We train together. Because it is just us two, we struggle to recreate the pressures of team play and the opposition. The obstructions and ropes and buckets you have help. Please include more ideas like this.

Did you have headphones in, unfortunately with the phone we filmed on, sometimes my voice comes through one side and the music through the other.
