    Your channel is seriously underrated. I just discovered your channel a few days ago. Thank you for all of your videos. This is one of the best and most informative videos on the horse stance that I have seen, and I have seen videos put out by big names. I just started incorporating the horse stance again in my morning routine. I'm going to start doing CRAC tomorrow, today is my rest day.

    Really appreciate the kind words! People like you are who I put these videos out for - I could care less about the views. After you’ve gotten proficient at creating contractions on both sides of the joint from your end range(using the CRAC Method), I would then recommend you start to add some load to the position. My most recent video goes over exactly how to do that!🙌🏼

    @@Flexibility.Maestro your content is impressive and truly unique…have you worked with any football players? My knees , hips, ankles, and lower back have limited my mobility…I’m strong in traditional lifting but weak in a lot of the movements u suggest

    Hey PJ, How would you program mobility and flexibility training. Would you just do these together or pair mobility with S & C and do stretching seperately?

    I want to do a full middle split one day. I will watch your videos. How long do we hold the positions?

    Thank you! Does having a strong horse stance allow flexibility to be able to sit cross legged without having your knees up by your ears?

  • @Flexibility.Maestro

    @Flexibility.Maestro

    Жыл бұрын

    It can definitely help, but it's not directly applicable. For sitting cross legged you'll want to focus more on the Butterfly Stretch, and Piriformis Stretches(external hip rotation). I have videos for both of those on my channel🙌🏼

    @@Flexibility.Maestro Thanks so much for taking time to reply. Would it also follow that being able to do the full splits, also wouldn't necessarily mean you could sit cross legged?

  • @Flexibility.Maestro

    @Flexibility.Maestro

    @@zecollecter8747 Yeah sitting cross legged is mainly hip rotation more than anything else. Although the splits do require some hip rotation, it’s not directly applicable. They’re 2 different positions

    Nice. How often would you do this 2min hold?

    Training the horse stance 1-2x/week is more than enough if you’re working at a decently high intensity

    @Flexibility.Maestro I assume some recovery time is needed if the intensity is correct. So 20s cycles up to 2-3 min 1-2 times/week?

    Very confused because some videos out there suggest that the horse stance needs a posterior pelvic tilt. Which is correct?

  • @Flexibility.Maestro

    @Flexibility.Maestro

    This drill is actually working external rotation of the hips - whereas the W-Sit is working internal hip rotation. So there won’t be direct carryover, but improving your hip & groin mobility should definitely have some indirect carryover to help you get more out of your hip IR work🙌🏼

    Hey, when I sit in the middle splits I feel a weird blocking feeling in my left hip on the inside near the groin area. I've had x-rays done and they said my bones are completely normal. It feels like bones are touching though and I can't rotate my left leg forward like I can with my right leg. My left leg stays slightly rotated externally. Do you have any ideas what this is? Maybe extra tight muscles pulling the bone out of position causing it to touch another bone? Thanks

    If you’re staying in your comfort zone, your body will see no need to make adaptations to increase flexibility! Intensity is the key🔑 You’re on the right track
