How To Identify An Evil Person

Granger Smith Podcast Episode 223: In this podcast episode, a listener named Alex seeks advice from Granger, about a recurring issue in his relationships. Alex confesses to struggling with fidelity, leading to the end of his previous marriage. Despite finding happiness with a new partner, he finds himself making mistakes again, jeopardizing his current relationship. Alex grapples with the belief that he's not a bad person but is unsure how to overcome his pattern of destructive behavior. Granger and his guest Bernie, reflects on the complexity of morality and suggests that Alex's understanding of good and bad may differ from a biblical worldview, highlighting the importance of discussing such challenges openly.
In a subsequent question, a listener named Dalton poses a question about the compatibility of tattoos with Christian beliefs, acknowledging that Granger himself has meaningful tattoos. Granger and Bernie discuss the perception of tattoos in cultural contexts, highlighting the polarizing nature of opinions. They address the notion of certain beliefs being linked and challenge the idea that Christians must adhere to all aspects of the Bible uniformly, emphasizing the importance of understanding context in biblical interpretation.

Q2. This makes me think of Granger's IS page, where Mav is sitting on his lap, and Granger is coaching up saying,'In this house, we're not talkers, we're doers'. Q3. I could sit and soak in Granger & Bernie's answer longer. ...so good. ❤️ Psalms ...same Berns, my favorite Country Artist, retired. Now, when the good guys win song has new meaning for me. My eldest feels he is always the goto for family problems. He just doesn't like to be the fixer. He has the qualities if a fixer. But they do listen to you but must let them move to their own course. It puts a lot of responsibilities on you. But that doesn’t mean you failed them. Tell them right off they don't want to fail them. The best you can do is give your opinion. But seek others too. It is multi faceted. But my son who will be 40 in May fights his own battles.

How sad to think that God judges the outward appearance and condemns you if you have a tattoo. That leaves a vast majority of the population without hope. God would not do that. He leaves us with hope. That is why the bible says man judges the outward but God judges the heart. What a horrible life under condemnation for a person who got themselves covered in tattoos then became born again. Thats against God's character to leave this person as destined to hell because of their outward tattoos.

Mal 3:6, John 14:7, Heb 13:8. It doesn't matter how we feel or think about something regarding what is sin and what is holy. We are called to be imagers of HIM. HIS WORD (Jesus) is very black and white. Sin is sin, holy is holy. In all things, we should ask ourselves how does our heavenly Father view this? HE never changes. Filter everything through HIS eyes.

1 Corinthians says your body is a temple of the Holy spirit. Who is in you. Whom you have from God. It is not your own. Secondly... Leviticus 19:28.. says...you shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead. Nor make any tattoo marks on yourself. I am the Lord. I think anyone deciding to get a tattoo. Is going against Gods word. I'm sorry. But trying to say a person is evil, then condoning a tattoo. Is VERY condescending. It's wrong. Your judging evil people? But it's ok for you to get a Tattoo? When the Bible clearly states that the Lord (our father in Heaven)... says he doesn't want you to do that. Yes... the scriptures are in the Old Testament more so against them. But, even so there is NO scripture saying it's ok to (or not too) in the New Testament. I feel as tho God made himself clear in the Old Testament already about this. You cannot condone one thing just because you have one, or "think" it's ok. Then judge someone else about another scripture. Thats wrong. WE ARE NOT God. We are too obey. Yes. We sin. But this is blatant. And very clear not to do it. It's the word. Simple as that. There is NO reading between the lines. I'm sorry doing that is trying to rewrite the Bible. Context does not matter. I agree Granger.

Just have a few questions then, and I mean this as a totally healthy debate not being rude or hateful so please know that. By this statement about it being in the Old Testament clear as day so they we should do everything the Old Testament says? Should we sacrifice animals still to please God and not eat certain things because of hoof shape?
