Granger, my dad and I always would listen to your podcasts together. I have recently lost him to his 4 year battle with cancer. He has spent the last 3 days unresponsive in the hospital coming to terms with the lord, and eventually the lord called him home. I have never lost someone within my family and don’t know what to do next. He was my biggest influence growing up and with the snap of a finger he was gone. I have a really hard time opening up, sharing information, and showing that I am struggling. I’m sorry that this jumps around a lot, but I don’t know a good way to order it all.

I went to church for a year or better before I became mature enough to lay my husband at the foot of the cross and started to pray over him and ask others to do the same…. Within 6 months of doing that, my husband started going to church with me, within the year he was Baptized. Praise be to God. What Granger says is true. I desperately needed the support of like minded people to get me through the times of doubt. I then got to watch God move in my husband, my best friends life and that’s been a cherished thing I will hold onto until my dying day! My husband was 17 when he lost his mother that had polio, which he cared for. I knew this but didn’t understand that he was SO angry with God for it. He has since come to the seat of mercy at the feet of Jesus and realizes that his mother was spared SO much pain. 🥰♥️🥰

Lol! This truck story reminded me of what happened to my VW van. One day while driving south on the 101 in California, my husband pulled over to the side of the road to get pictures of the beautiful view of the Pacific. Well as soon as he opened his door, a gust of wind ripped it out of his hand and almost wrapped it around the front of the van. Needless to say, the door wouldn't close. Fortunately he had a long wooden pole like a broomstick in the van. He stuck that in between the door and the hinge and slammed the door hard. It worked! The door shut and we went on our way.

It is beautifully written, raw and emotional, thank you for being so vulnerable in sharing your most personal moments through your journey. You and Amber helped me through the loss of my dad in 2020 and I thank you both so very much. Amber’s Arises make me seek God and now I’m on a totally different path and am so thankful for God’s love. Thank you and your family for sharing your testimony and we support your new journey with all our hearts. We are so excited to see you at Billy Bob’s and would love to meet the family! I just moved finished reading your book. I cried the first two chapters because I had lost custody of my children through a horrible divorce. It reminded me of the grief I went through from losing custody to a abusive husband. When I was grieving over the loss of custody of the children my friends told me that it could have much worse if my children had died. My 2 older children came to me when they turned 18. The youngest child was only 3 years old and her dad told her horrible lies about me and she believes the lies. I pray for her. I do love your book. You really shared very vulnerable things with you. I found your channel from Arms Family and I started watching you in 2021and Amber's channel right after, while you were going through this tragedy. I was shocked by the Darkest Night and I am glad you shared about the fact that you thought you were not really saved and surrendered to the Lord. You testimony is very important to get out to the people who think they are saved and aren't. My ex-husband husband told me he was a Christian. I pray for him and my youngest daughter to turn their lives over to God. Thank you for the book. God Bless you and your family. I was saved when I was 9 and I am involved in my church and I see God's protection over me during my whole life.

I like the new set up but wonder where is Bernie gonna sit? Lol. You do look more comfortable 😊. Thank you for another great podcast! #201 right? And your not slowing down a bit! I couldn’t help but feel like you speaking str8 to me when you were talking about the church and all that pertains to it. It seems like that is the next step in my faith journey but I just don’t understand why I’m so resistant to it. Organized religion has left a bad taste in my mouth for a while now. I can see so many benefits, but you also hear so many stories. It’s a trust issue I think. I also struggle with finding a church. I’m not a religion, so how do I find a church? Do you pick the one with pretty flowers out front? I don’t know anyone who goes to church so I can’t ask around. There are popular churches but I don’t think I’d like a big church like that. So many issues. I guess I need to pray about it and work through my issues one by one. 😊

I hope it helps to remember that a church is nothing but a hospital full of sick souls. While every member should certainly be trying his/her best to be who God has called us to be, each one of us is no more than a sinner saved by Grace. As you search for a group to join yourself with, compare what they are doing and teaching with what God's Word says. You can search by making visits to local congregations, but you can also find out a lot about congregations from their websites (and some on social media). Most congregations now have websites that will tell you about their beliefs, practices, structure, etc. It's about the practices and the people, not the flowers, popularity, or size of the building. The right folks are out there, and the search is worth the effort. I hope it works out for you.

How do you get to hell? Very simple: claim that you're innocent. How do you get to heaven? Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy. How to know if you're guilty or not? Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible. Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police. Do not lie. Do not steal. Do not commit adultery. Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word. There are six more but let's just leave it at that. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman. How many times a day do you do that? Do you use God's name as a cuss word? Would you do that with your own mother's name? If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty. God can justly punish you and send you to hell. Ask him for mercy. His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine. The fine is death. Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul who sins shall die." That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy. Option A. You die for your own sins. Option B. Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you. ❤ *Honest questions are welcome.* ))))
