Here's how we catch all sorts of fish at Utah Lake! I hope you get the chance to ice fish at this amazing lake! It can be tough to find ice that is thick enough, but if you're patient, you can find it! Just be safe out there!

Nice footage! We were there on sat too but in the late afternoon, I talked to a fisherman who mentioned that someone caught a pike earlier in the day. Must've been that guy. What an awesome pike! And yah, we'd be jealous too!

Thank you! This was at the Provo marina. People definitely do eat those fish, but I'm always nervous to eat fish from Utah lake for some reason. Ha ha.
I want to take my kids but nervous about them being on the ice. I dont know where to start. Would you recommend just going to one of the boat docks and seeing if other people are out?

@@mcaputto I don’t usually have my kids on the ice at all on Utah Lake. This day was a rare occasion where the ice was 4 inches thick. That being said, you can always fish through the ice while standing on the dock! If the ice is 4 inches thick or more by the dock, you should be good!

If I remember right it was a small pink plastic bait of some sort tipped with a mealworm. We were all just fishing for panfish and then this pike showed up! Ha ha
Did they put the pike back?

No. I think they are just still trying to get rid of them.
