    Thanks Captain, very informative video! I fish from beach and using fish finder rig, but when I cast live bait it flies away, how to keep them on the hook, I follow your rule less meat on hook and more exposed hook

    Would this work for halibut? We fish in northern Norway for giant Atlantic halibut .. We usually use coalfish or herring for bait, also we dont need to cast.

    Instead of a rubber band I've been tying a large piece of mono on hook to keep them from hooking baits a second time. Your solution looks quicker and I'll be trying it soon, thanks for sharing..

    i just started fishing Port Canaveral out of a micro skiff and am struggling to catch livebait. the port has a lock system which prevents me from going into the intercostal to catch threadfin and pinfish on the flats. Any advise....is there any chance you could do a video fishing the port of Miami?

    where would you recommend for a guy with a boat from tampa to come there and stay for the weekend and boat ramp near by . I heard its almost impossible to bring a boat down there and leave it on a trailer over night....any help is highly appreciated...thanks

    Shimano Saragosa. I took the hook out my hand, but I also use a giant de-hooker for toothy fish.

    In the video about how to unhook sabiki bait you said we shouldn't touch the fish with our hands. However in this one you are touching it...of course. So what's the difference with this touching?

    You can touch the bait to hook it and go fishing. We don’t don’t the baits as to store them in the wells unharmed and last until we are ready to fish.

    theres a tissue right above the eyes where it wont kill them and they will stay live and healthy the whole time. plus most big fish will hit from the head. just be delicate when hooking it on

    Nice as always. I have hooked my pinfish just under the anal fin kinda making them swim like a wounded bait. I also snip off a little corner of the tail. I don't know why it works but every time I do it I haven't caught a trout under 20 inches
