Please follow these steps:
1: Fill one fitting sock with 3-4 lbs of long or short grain white rice and tie a knot at the end.
2: On a flat surface, spread rice throughout stocking to form a long sausage shape.
3: Keeping rice stocking in an even, tubular shape, place into microwave.
4: Based on wattage in manual or on back panel of microwave, heat rice stocking for appropriate time: 700-900W=7min, 1000-1100W=5min, 1200-1250W=4min.
5: While rice stocking is heating, place toecap on first foot to fit. (Intuition logo goes over big toe)
6: Place other fitting sock over toecap to secure. Pull stocking up evenly, eliminating all wrinkles.
7: CAUTION HOT! When timer goes off, pull rice stocking out of microwave by the knotted end.
8: Continuing to hold by the knot, place rice stocking inside first liner (in boot). Work stocking into toe box and heel by tapping boot hard on floor multiple times, first on heel and then toe. Keep on tapping, going back and forth between heel and toe until rice stocking has settled deeper into liner.
9: Let boot stand with rice stocking inside for 4-12 min depending on liner model (refer to heating time chart below). Remove heated rice stocking from liner. Insert foot bed now, if used. With toecap on securely, place foot into heated liner. When boot is on, kick heel of boot into floor to ensure heel and liner are in heel pocket firmly. Buckle or lace up to normal tension settings. Keep weight on boot 5-7 min STANDING with knees slightly bent. Keep heels down to avoid creating extra space resulting in heel lift. (You can also place the toe of your boots on a board (2×4) to help push heel back towards heel of boot).
10: Take off boot, stocking and toecap, and repeat for other liner.
How To Home Fit Intuition Liners
ADDITIONAL FITTING TIPS
Check fit before heating liners. Put liners in boots, with foot beds if you plan to use them. If toes are touching the end, that’s fine, the toecap will create extra space for you during molding. If they are curled up or jammed into the end of the liners then they are too small and you may need a larger size. Ideally, the liner should feel snug all over, with no uncomfortable pressure points. Feeling a bit too tight is okay because the liner will compress when heated and buckled down.
We do not recommend heat molding a liner that feels loose. Do not rely on liner to expand to fill voids or sloppiness, instead consider choosing a thicker liner.
If liners felt tight when you first tried them on, buckle extra tight when molding to compress foam and thin it out.
If liners felt just right, buckle loosely so liner is held firmly but not compressed. This allows you to retain maximum thickness.
After initial molding, if you need to adjust the fit in a specific area (ex. ankle or toe box) consider making a smaller rice bag to use rather than re-molding the entire liner.
Cuff can be reheated and adjusted by shaping rice bag into a more condensed ball shape. Lay boot on side to allow rice bag to rest in top of cuff area.
When heating an overlap style liner, you will want to position rice bag in between overlap of liner to heat the outer overlap.
“Break-in period” Try skiing a couple of times first and then make adjustments to the fit as needed.

@@RicardoLino hello good sir, so I’m looking at doing doing this for my FR3s, now you said to put the insole in first yea? So I’m a 271mondo (10.5 / 45) 11/11.5US normally. With your super feet I saw you have there, I’m curious if you have space between the end of the insole to the footbed/toe end in your boot like I do if I took my insole out of my liner and put it underneath? Wouldnt this cause you insole and foot to move around once you get to sweating in there? Would you recommend taking the glued in insole under my liner? And replace that with either my gamechanger or a super feet (I think they have lower profile)

Very inspiring video! We do this because it's fun! I am excited to try this out with some F2's where the lining is taking a while to stretch!

Hi Ricardo. I really enjoy your video's but i'm not into in lines ( yet } ... I've been skating on quad's for year's and i'm getting better.... Skating for me has been an absolute joy but I've had to over come life threatening injury and illness, my legs - left arm - shoulders are all full of pin's, plates, screw's and staples... Hopefully once i've got my full confidence on quads i will give in lines a go. But until then thanks for making these awesome video's

Another good tip instead of cutting a liner just wear thicker socks when you put your foot in. Worked really well for me.

Hi Lino, I didn't understand the meaning of this thing but I bought a PS Fatboy liner, for pain in the malleolus, and I got the confirmation, you don't need a hot modeling liner, but a hot modeling boot.

Super super helpful. Tried it myself and it made a huge difference. I have two questions though: 1) Can you heat mold the liner multiple times? 2) What is the difference between putting the insole between the boot and liner vs replacing the intuition insole? I just ordered some superfeets. Thank you!

Thank You!! You can do it multiple tines and I usually put the insole outside to that it does not change the original height if the liner. Ut that's just me. Best is depending on the skate playing with it and see what feels better. 👊🏼

@@RicardoLino Thank you for the reply! I'll definitely try both. What kind of insole do you use? I ordered Superfeet Carbons. So if I put the insole between the boot and liner, I'm wondering if the plastic heel of the insole will break, if I land too hard, since it will be up against the boot.

Hey guys, if I put the size small intuition V2 liner (Foot length: 25-26.5 cm Liner size: S Shell size: US 7/EU 40) into a Medium US 9/10 sized THEM 909 skate, will the liner wiggle and move around in the THEM shell? Would the liner be too small for that shell? Thanks in advance!

@@RicardoLino thanks Ricardo, reddit came to my help as well: I found out it's wise to heat just the toebox area if the liner fits well (it could generate more unwanted space). Google-fu gave me this info: heatmolding reorganizes the foam (like dough) filling in the spaces and keeping the foam soft, while breaking in pushes/presses the foam in and cam get hard spots in the foam.

Hi Ricardo, I saw that the top part of your m12 looks like widen up, I mean the space between the eyelets. Did you work it out like that? Because back in the old days I had to cut down all around the eyelets and make new ones, there was too much pressure on the top of my feet, let's call it the horn of the foot
