I decided to use a fountain pen. I learned that angle and way you hold the pen matters. So far I like it. I had bad habbit of holding my regular pens on high angle.

Definitely, the way I held a pen was something I had to significantly adjust as well

in a craft (and in general art supply) store near me, they sell fountain pens, AND cartridges. i love them because they sell purple, green, turquoise, black, the classic blue, red-- and probably more. but still, more colors do need to be more common!

Always attach the fountain pen cap on back while writing. It gives balance and leverage for quick writing... Try...

For me it comes down to the specific pen. A lot of the pens I own don't post securely or deeply enough to be comfortable. My preference is to use pens unposted any amount of weight beyond the webbing of my hand causes me hand fatigue.

It is always good to try different pens, nibs, inks, posted or not etc. When I first started I preferred fine/xfine nibs as it helped with legibility, as someone who didn't normally write in cursive and had generally really bad handwriting. But now that I've improved my handwriting I actually prefer medium nibs for writing comfort

I'm not certain I understand what you are referring to but will take my best guess. If you are referring to flex writing where the nib (the part that touches the page and writes) spreads apart to write wider lines. This requires a pen designed to do this. But extra pressure is used typically on the down strokes of each letter to spread the tines open slightly. Modern flex nibs can be found on the Nooders pens, Fountain pen revolution's pens if you select the flex nib options as well as Osprey's Phosflex nib. Likely a few among others but these are the ones I have experienced. Doing this with a standard nib can and will likely cause damage to the nib causing it to stay spread apart preventing ink from flowing so please keep this in mind.

while no rocket surgery degree is needed, coming from ballpoint/rollerball it can be jarring that you need to maintain the proper orientation of the pen when using a fountain pen. Failing to do so can cause the pen to feel scratchy or no ink to flow out. with a ballpoint or roller ball the angle and pressure matter but rotation doesn't, fountain pens need all three to be in a bit of a "sweet spot" to write the best.

Grip wise you can but angle and rotation can make a big difference on if the pen writes well or at all depending on the pen. The grip shown just helps to naturally have the pen at the right angle. Rotation takes a bit of practice as it is easy to drift off one way or the other when you aren't used to writing with a fountain pen.
