Seems like a special gift you must have. I cannot imagine just anyone could do this, even if they followed what you said 100%. Dogs that can be 'temperamental', always tend to act it out around me. I suppose I have a gift of my own 😂

There is truth to what you say. If the dog is an Alpha, you yourself need to be an Alpha, if the dog is a Beta, you at least have to be a Beta. Not every dog will be a good fit for every person. A passive person can not safely own a high energy, confident Alpha dog. With that said, the right person can teach that Alpha dog to respect people and dogs who are less dominant than they are and in most cases that Alpha dog will be okay with non Alpha people. The deciding factor is whether that Alpha dog is a diplomat or an asshole. Cheers ✌️

I figured there was a reason why I have always been hesitant to get a dog.. mostly the responsibility of being the dogs guardian, which is the same reason why i've always been afraid to be a father my whole life. The responsibility freaks me out. I do tend to be more passive, so perhaps my hesitance is justifiable. Lol. Great response, thank you.

Cheers to your work. I only work with reactive, aggressive and fearful dogs, the dogs nobody else can help and are killed by the bcspca and their dog trainers and behaviourists who falsely claim their treat based, positive reinforcement only, humane, force free techniques work on all dogs.
