In my 2 previous relationships, period sex was a hard no from my partners, so I hadn't experienced it. When I met my current partner for about 6 months I'd just say "I'm on my period" and just leave it at that, thinking all men were like my previous relationships. Until one day my current partner told me he doesn't mind period sex if I don't, so we openly talked about it and now have sex anytime we want, whether its during my period or not. Y'all are right, its really no big deal! We take precautions like laying down a dark colored towel, and we keep a wet washcloth near the bed and just enjoy our great sex life, no matter the time of the month! Thanks for sharing this video, even though I'm already enjoying period sex, it still gave me some reassurance that it is completely normal!

My period is light AF and only lasts 2-3 days... That's not normal is it not

I did it when I was 17 , ew . She was 27 and on her period . We did it for hours and " it " never fell off my body . It's all good guys . Go for it . She even called her friend the next day while I was there at her place and said it was great . so there

Thank you for talking about this! Hangups about period sex often feel like just another form of misogyny and shaming women. Might be great to add lesbian voices to this conversation, as the hangups about period communication are way different when both partners bleed... :) And a note that some religions have rituals surrounding periods including off-limits sex -- adding another element of complexity for some couples.

What if there is too much lubrication on your period? Also what about if my husband has a much lower sex drive than myself, so this is another excuse that gets him out of the mood. He’s been checked out medically and all was good.

His testosterone level maybe low. There are many herbs and natural products that can help w this. Shalijit and horny weed goat are a couple that may help him.

I have been dating a guy since 2014 and about 4 weeks ago my period came on and I thought it went off. The next day i had sex with him and my period came back on during sex. He shut down on me and stopped talking to me. He was upset that we had oral sex before penetrating, but, there was no blood before penetration. He's not talking to me anymore. Leave that kid alone. I did oral sex while my girl was on her period willingly. She wanted it, but she was afraid I was disgusted. But little did she know 😂😋 I just tasted sum pennies but it was totally fine. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Take care!

That is 100% a personal choice

I just don’t like blood makes me wheezy

*I don’t like intercourse on my period ew to wet & messy! And I bleed a whole lot more during & after sex like a crime scene 😩 that’s why I just can’t do it!!I Also I get very bad cramps after sex & There’s nothing wrong with me I go to the doctors every year for a physical I been with my husband almost 30 yrs. I personally think everybody’s body is different. I just can’t my husband don’t care if I have my period but it bothers me. If I’m at the end just spotting a little then sometimes a might give in. But I personally do not like having intercourse during my period just how I feel personally. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a lot of shame about period sex (I was raised sex was only to make babies never told it was enjoyable) which is really hard when I feel much stronger urges during most of my periods and then ofcourse the thought that my husband would be sick if I suggested it (I started during the night last month, we've been together 19 years, and didn't realize and we had sex that morning I was so embarrassed coming out of the bathroom since we have never had sex when I'm on my period, it then being obvious I had started, to my husband showing me the mess and having to clean the sheets 😕

Can you imagine being college intern going on Tour sharing hotel rooms with multiple 30-40 year old men without an std test? Unreal- 12 men shared community Tinder period sex all of them. I’m shocked. And gagging. Be careful who Trafficks you out there.

Period sex was always a flat out forget it. Then my current boyfriend comes along and insists he doesn't care. He still wants sex. It took him A LOT of convincing me to say yes. Once, lol. It doesn't interest me to have sex while I have my period because he will only do it with a condom and I detest condoms, they take a great deal of the fun of sex away for me. All that being said, it wasn't such a big deal. I might do it again if he wasn't such a wuss with needing a condom, lol.
