    Hello Red Rocket64, this is a very good video, thanks for it, I have a very special project, it's a 30 ton press which requires 5000 psi to work, I've calculated I need at least a pipe of 1/2 in with 0.095 thickness however this is very special pipe, I have only found 12mm 2mm thickness which is close enough to work, my concern is where can I find the fittings for this pipe.

    i was unsuccessful its hard matching the lines and creating the bends to the point where you need them to be .. i just threw regular hoses for now until i can get someone to do it for me lol

  • @RedRocket64

    @RedRocket64

    2 жыл бұрын

    It’s definitely a challenge, it’s hard to get them exact, the bend takes about 1 inch, so you have to make up for it.

    Nice video I seen the last one where you did the back pump I was hoping you would do a video on how to flare the lines you where talking about a professional way of making you angles square with each other you can use a level if you have a email address I can make a video kind of explaining it also for your bender you could put one handle in a vice and put a pipe over the other handle and it would be a lot easier to bend

    Tube size depends on the fitting size right? What wall thickness for 3/8 tubing?

  • @RedRocket64

    @RedRocket64

    2 жыл бұрын

    Damn I just saw your question, for 3/8 tubing you want to go 0.49 wall. 0.35 will work but it’s delicate, you have to cut it super slow so it won’t heat up. If it get to hot while cutting, your flare will split.
