I work in a restaurant, so it's hard to avoid water, but I wear gloves when I can and my nails are finally stronger and healthier than they've ever been!

+Novmber Funk yay that's awesome! I work in an early childhood centre and need to wash my hands a LOT so that can be a struggle. I try to compensate with lots of oil.

Very informative thank you. You said not to soak nails in water. Whenever I give myself a pedicure I give my feet a little soak first in warm water with a bit of Epsom salts, essential oils, sometimes salt etc added. I've always had dry brittle nails, and sometimes for example if I bang my foot on the corner of my bed, before I know it a piece of my beautifully done toenails has snapped off. 😭 Do you have any other suggestions as to what I can soak them in please so that they're a lot more supple? I've been soaking my fingernails for 5mins once a week in a little white vinegar with Olive oil added also ensuring that they are painted all the time and they seem to be doing a lot better. Please let me know if that's not a good idea. I saw it on KZread. 😔

If you wanna fix super ridgey nails take a nail buffer and buff it VERY lightly 💅🏻💅🏼💅🏽💅🏾💅🏿✨✨

I'm a nail biter.

But i have to dissapoint some of you. Not everybody can grow long " strong" nails. That comes from a nail tech. You have to have a relatively long nailbed, strong nails from birth ( childhood) AND a c curve. If you have teeny tiny nailbeds and flat nails ,they would NEVER grow as long as you wish. It is what it is. But there is a solution. You can make them stronger .
