I grew 3 lotus plants from seeds successfully. Around 20-30 days back, I pot them in a bigger container but there is a problem. New leaves are emerging out of water frequently but not getting bigger in size also they're getting pale or dark soon. Don't know if I did some sort of mistake while planting, the soil was not good enough or it is just a normal reaction of plant towards new environment. Any suggestions will do good. Thank you.

Try putting your plant directly under sun light. The plant striving under direct sun light & will bloom. Typically flowers last 4-5 days till the next bloom.

Hi, try to seperate the seed with each other, one pot per seeds, if u put 3 seeds together, they will eventually too competitive for getting nutrients, and will end up killing all the leafs, one seeds can grow many leaves and bigger leaves with enough nutrients don’t worry

Shita, they love direct hot sun. And only bloom when exposed to sun light. Best time to germinate in spring or autumn & after exposure to direct sun, will bloom for only few days.

Yes seeds grow in all months. I grew few in this month. First time u soak them soak in warm water. U may buy divesh lotus seeds from amazon. These are really good.All the Best for ur lotus seeds germination👍

It's to small for a betta to, bettas need minimal of 5 gallons. 10 gallons is better for them though, this bowl is better for a few shrimp or snails.

Das Glas ist viel zu klein für die ganzen Fische! Man sieht das richtig,das die raus wollen... Den ist das zu eng! Außerdem muss die komplette Seerose im Wasser sein! Die geht sonst kaputt! Wenn man davon keine Ahnung hat dann sollte man die Finger davon lassen!

From what I’ve seen, place into pot with mud and water once u see root hairs coming out

Idea is great but keeping fish in there is serious issue...they are not suppose to be there...it is harmful for them...that environment suits koi fish not goldfish and all so please remove them from there...please dont take me anyway.

My seeds germinated but the place where the leaves are supposed to grow are turning yellow. Pls help. What is wrong?

Best to use mud normally found in ponds or water lodged areas. For ferterlizer use chicken treated dried droppings wrapped with papers underneath the earth. Or use water plants fertilizer

A lot of the videos I watched before, they scratched the bottom part of the lotus seeds in order to penetrate the water...I also do the same WITHOUT KNOWING THAT I CAN PUT IT DIRECTLY ON THE WATER AS SHOWN ON THIS VID...thanks for sharing
