re. the questions about ‘grit’, its basically small stone material, sharp sand, plastering sand, river sand etc. But dont use ‘quarry dust’ it contains a lot of actual dust.

My grandmother called hers 'Caroline Schmidt'. She died in 1975 and my plants are all from cuttings from hers!

After you get your cuttings rooted, do you place only one per pot and keep cutting back to make it bush out, or do you place several cuttings into one pot? Thanks!

In Arizona the problem is getting the geraniums through the summer. They do fine till mid June and then by mid July they are dead. I'm wondering if I can take a June 1 cutting, bring it indoors and keep it out of the extreme heat through September. Hoping to transplant it back to its original home after the extreme heat is past. Wish me luck!!!

I would say yes that should work as long as the room has good air flow and you keep them out of direct sunlight. Good luck!

Not sure, but I would also keep them out of direct path of the air conditioner.

When you say “grit,” are referring to “sand?” If not, can sand be used in the same way?

It's sand but rough sand with larger bits mixed in. You could use sand also although I prefer grit as it doesn't compact so much and so leaves more room for air gaps and improved drainage.

Standard Grit/Sharp Sand. You can buy it in large bags at DIY stores.

So these cuttings are simply sitting on your window sill during the winter ? They must be getting a little heat then from the central heating then, would that be true ?

This one was on the window sill south facing. It only had the general temperature of the house no extra heat.

Pelargonium 'Wilhelm Langguth is the name for this specific verity 🌸🪴. I’ve taken a cutting back from Cyprus they grow all year over there as the winters are mild and frost free I watched your other video it worked I did it about a month ago with the cutting and it’s rooted and growing well.
