Mr. Hollis the clip with the dog sitting behind Mrs. Hollis in the chair was awesome 😅😅😅😅 it’s like he/she was ready for that shot and it was perfect 😃😃😃😃😃
I soaked my 2 garlic cloves in baking soda water for some hours & they popped up after planting a day later. They were in my fridge for months I figured I'd give them a try. I planted them on the nineteenth of November & the stalks are about 5" already... 😍🥰😁🥳
Thank you so much for all your time and effort into making these videos. It’s tedious and takes lots of patience to record clips and waiting until the next stage for you to record a new clip. I’m sure you have lots of videos and projects that are ongoing ON TOP of all the work you put into your homestead. Just wanted to say you guys are amazing and keep it up. I’m looking forward to every new video

man when you folks grow something, you grow A LOT, love it
18:20 Plant garlic in November every year in Atlanta zone 7B. Great results with elephant garlic, seed garlic, and store bought garlic. Heavy on phosphorus for 1st month, then switch to balanced fertilizer next 3 months. Stop all fertilizing when bulb starts to appear. Harvest in June/July. Great success.
Garlic Galore, what an abundant harvest. Thanks Nancy and Hollis, you Folks are a blessing 🙂.
Bing-Bing makes an excellent supervisor 🐕
I just hope that my elephant garlic grows and does well this year 2024. Thanks for the videos you have done ❤❤❤
I love seeing you two together! I really like the suppliers that you've recommended. Here in SoCal, it's the right time to get those elephant garlic cloves into the ground. Thanks for taking us through the whole process.
It was a delight watching the complete process. It's hard work but very rewarding in the end. You homesteaders are absolutely amazing - All of you. Thank you!
Now that’s what you call abundance
WOW, this is a fabulous video. I think it's one of my top three that you've shown! I am beyond impressed. The bulbs themselves, the dehydrated pieces, the powder! You've got me dreaming of soups and stews! And even eggs! Not to mention a dehydrator! I've made leek and potato soup before, and to know that these plants can be used as leeks also is really awesome! ❓❓Question for Nancy: did I interpret correctly - that the green dried pieces (chopped in the food processor?) and the green powder are from the leaves only? If so, I'm extra impressed! I would not have thought of that! What a beautiful thing to use every bit of the plant. Thanks so much for this video!

What an incredible garlic journey. Thanks so much for putting in all the work and time that went into this and all your videos. You are helping so many to be more self sufficient. Now I'm just waiting for fall so I can try my hand at raising garlic
Nancy, you picked out some rock’n good music. Especially the one when Hollis was cleaning the elephant garlic! Hollis, those garlic pods looked fabulous!! ♥️🙏🏼♥️ And, Bing Bing was ready for her closeup!
Is the best video seed to harvest I've ever seen, but I have a question did you take off the scapes of your garlic or you don't seem necessarily? (It's a lot of work for all the heads you and your wife grow by the way)
I loved every minute of this video. Well done!
I luv farming, thanks for sharing method how to plant giant garlic, I’ve learned a lot from this video, more power to u great couple & God bless u both & give u more strength to do farming & sharing information to people around the world.

I’m so glad you highlighted eating it early! I LOVE green garlic! I eat it in stir fry, salads, anything garlic or onions are used in.

Love your channel! We are from Florida but live retired on 4 acres in Northern Utah on a ski resort. Our growing season is not long so I have a grow shed that helps me get a 2 month head start. I planted 350 cloves of garlic in our raised beds in November and under 6 feet of snow all winter, they have emerged beautifully. It’s hard neck garlic for our area of 5B. No bugs to worry about here but the short gardening season is tough. I miss my sandy soil in Florida. Take good care and blessings to you two
I like when Nancy makes a cameo❤
Thank you so much for sharing your journey.. wow!! You guys are a dream team.. y’all are awesome… I definitely learnt something for sure…I do a little gardening myself ntn much but I can say for sure that God has blessed the little that I do because I have been able to share the little I have with my neighbors (& not just my neighbors next to me) two doors over and then some .. praise God.. Long Island NY..

Just lovely. Need more people to do what you are doing.🙏🏻 Just curious, at the end of the video you show a pile of sand that seems to be used for fires. What a great idea. Can you please talk more about that too. Curious if you use the ashes and all that good stuff. Blessings!
Hollis and Nancy....this is another excellent compilation video. You guys knocked this one out of the park! Please, keep them coming. And may God continue to bless 🙌🏾 the work of your hands.

Excellent video! Thank you. God bless you.
Another wonderful and informative video Sir, thank you. I planted garlic 2 years ago on a whim but didn't grow them long enough nor put the required amount of effort into them. I'm a 3rd year veg grower so learning all the time. This year coming, I'll grow them longer and with your instruction, I'll be a bit more patient and attentive. Keep up the great work, these are the best videos on you tube. Have a wonderful and healthy 2024. Blessings from Scotland x
Great job growing all of that elephant garlic. Nancy, you did great on dehydrating the elephant garlic. That was quite a haul for what some people would have thrown out. I know a a lot of chefs who use elephant garlic as a replacement for shallots when the shallots are hard to find or too expensive.
Fantastic video and harvest. Shalom.
Thank you for sharing your technique and love! God Bless You Always!
Great video ❤️ Thanks so much
What type of cultivator do you use? Love that it just seems to flow through the ground. Would love to fish with you too! We raise Alpacas and have lots of worms from the compost/manure heap!

This was a great video from planting to harvesting. Here in Ohio it is too late for me to plant for next summer but I will refer back to your video for next fall. I can't wait to try to grow some next year.

What a super wonderful video! So far I’ve got 3 garlic or elephant garlic showing. I planted both kinds. But best of all, my greening russet potatoes from Walmart, which I planted since I couldn’t eat them, are thriving! Gotta fertilize them ASAP! Thanks for showing me what all to do. I’m over in Louisiana, zone 8b. North of Lake Pontchartrain. Hi to Bing Bing!
I just priced Black Cow…. your beautiful garlic is the most expensive garlic ever. You used a lot to amend your soil. You are an amazing gardener!

Here's a tip if you want to use black cow or any other bagged product go to Lowes and look for damaged bags I've been doing it for years and getting them for half price I just get the ones that have the least amount of soil missing!
Hi Hollis and Nancy I planted last December should be bidding them up soon😊
I just found this channel and absolutely love it, because of your skills, and all credit and thanks to the Lord. Would love to visit your garden, now that y’all are in Florida! I could always use some great advice for my small backyard garden. Keep up the excellent work!❤️
I love your videos so very much. Thank you for sharing so we can learn; you are a huge blessing! Praying for you and your family... I pray others will bless you just as you have blessed me. ♥ 🙏🙌👑
Wow I tip my hat off to you yall. I thought I wanted to grow some stuff but it looks like a heck of a lot of work. I thought I would he saving a lot of money but with all the nutrients it doesn't seem like I would be saving much. Thank you for your hard work and videos
