I have been making youtube videos for 10 years and still can't crack 2000 subs, tried so many variations and nothing increasing my channel. I"m starting to believe that youtube is just surprising my videos. I've heard soo many guru say "do this or do that" and nothing changes. I can guarantee that if you gave me action items to take, my channel will stay the same. it's depressing but I love what I do.

Being a KZreadr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame -ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

Thank you Marcus. I love your videos. Just what I needed Your style of story telling and good ole Aussie humour hits the spot for me being an Aussie living in the UK. Your so down to earth & real and that makes you so relatable Just wanted to thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
Marcus, this 8 step method to grow a KZread channel is pure gold! Thank you so much for posting this. I have watched so many videos that only give part of the method that you just shared, and it's been very frustrating. I will definitely follow this advice to grow my RPG Channel, DragonFire Lair. I'm focusing on helping Dungeon/Game Masters to help them hone their craft and provide them with resources to help them unleash their imaginations. Anyway, thank you again, Brian!
These tips are incredibly useful! As a smaller KZreadr trying and trying to grow, I'm excited to see for myself how well these work. Your videos have been concise, clearly defined, and it's nice too that you explain the reasoning behind everything, rather than just telling us to do one thing or another. Thank you!

amazing and thorough video my friend. I'm starting channel along with live streaming and I watched this all the way through while taking hand written notes for my to gloss over and imprint into my head. You got a new subscriber out of me!
I'm in the planning stages of completely overhauling my channel. I can't wait to have some time off from my day job to grind this out. Thank you for all the advice, I watched all the way through.
Thanks man I will give it a try wish me a good luck so I can make my family proud 🙏🏻❤️
Started streaming and posting gaming videos and I find that I enjoy it. No much result yet, but keeping up at it is the key. Every posting, I try to improve something- youtube thumbnails, speaking, audio, etc. I am deaf, and audio is a huge issue for me since I can't properly test it for myself, so I ask my friend out when he has the time. The take I get from KZread is never stop learning- there's always something to improve. There's a quote, that I like-"If you can get 1% better each day for one year, you’ll end up 37 times better by the time you’re done." There's no perfect video that exists, so just get comfortable and be yourself.
This a very useful course. I feel as if I had been neglecting some of these steps until I found this video. I feel excited to try them and I appreciate you going through the effort to post it all. If our channel does get somewhere, one day. I'll gladly give a shoutout for the help you've done and gladly show you our silver play button.

SUCH HUBLE - what a great video, very educational. Fingers crossed for meeeee
Really appreciate the insights, Marcus! Balancing quantity and quality is a challenge, especially with a 9-5 job and KZread on the side. Initially, I aimed for 1.5 videos a week but shifted focus to enhance quality, leading to a video every 2-3 weeks. Now, I've found a rhythm with weekly uploads: one week features an 8-minute, high-quality video suitable for mid-roll ads, and the following week, a concise 3-4 minute video focusing mainly on sharp editing and transitions, keeping viewers hooked from the start.
