I'm usually the bigger partner, but often not the strongest and also not a fan of using strength - which can be misleading and lead to the strongest people going aggro on me. So this is also very useful for people like me. Thank you so much and good luck with your channel!

Thank you, Professor Vanessa. I am one of the few females and smallest person at my academy. Your techniques will be very helpful to avoid being smashed and frustrated.

Brilliant!!! Even applicable if you find yourself being the oldest in the gym. This applies to getting the head start on the younger guys. Love it.

I really needed this. I'm older and have a rough time escaping from the bottom.

Thanks so much for this instruction, Vanessa - very helpful. In a future video could you show us how to set up triangles and keep them locked? On your other channel we can see you are very good at this.

Thank you, I’m 103 and 5 foot. I was unsure the best way to start a session with bigger people and avoid the smash. I’ve gotten used to the bottom game, but it’s hard to always be in guard. I’ll be trying this in my next roll.

Great job. I am strong but small and light. I keep locking horns and trying to sub. From bottom. It is exhausting

i always wonder how much density of blackbelts people have around them that they can afford to punch a boring punchingbag instead of listening to what the blackbelt has to say. can't wrap my head around it

Personally, my favorite part of this video was listening to the meatyboi in the background say "HSSSSSTTTT" really loud every time he hit the heavy bag. It was kinda hard to hear anything else...
