First and foremost, I would look at some preflop RFI charts and really hone in your preflop ranges. Then comprise a solid 3 bet range. Cleaning up preflop play is the quickest and easiest way to improve your win rate. Think of it as building a house, your preflop hand selection is the foundation. You can't build a sturdy house without a solid foundation. Work on those things first, and then worry about more complex stuff IMO. Good luck on the felt bro

Weird hand with the AK. You should pure 4bet it pre in SB vs BB spot. And river check seems bad too since you unblock hands like 99-JJ that’s gonna snap check back river. The only upside is that you have an A that’s blocks he’s check back range like AT AQ AJ, But somehow you got it right this time, in the long run this is not gonna be super profitable. But nice hand. I guess the euro pro was chocked to see you flat AK there vs he’s 3bet. 😂 The KK hand you could have made your life easier and just block bet barrel the turn with a big part of your range , there is no ev in checking here to induce bluffs and start bluff catching. Just block barrel and check rivers to see what he does next time is better.

When you’re playing for a living those tips add up and need to be part of your budget/bankroll mgmt. Rec’s with jobs can afford to stroke their own egos with big tips. Pros playing for the rent and trying to move up need to be consistent with tips (These guys who commented must be either dealers or waiters. 😂)
@hclaut

I disagree with you, Lex. I think that the larger pots normally take much more time than the small pots and should be tipped more. Most dealers can deal about 15 hands in a 30 minute down and expect a dollar a hand. In order to do that, they need a little larger tip on hands that take longer. If you want to play with skilled dealers at the larger stakes, tip them a little more on large pots. The dealers in the 5-10 games need to be better than the ones dealing 1-2 or 3-6 Limit and the players need to recognize that and pay them accordingly with a better tip.

Hey Lex, What I don't see in your vlog is what happens to me (and every other solid poker player I know) quite often: running into sets & coolers with premium hands and big bluffs - and making bad calls. Are you immune? This particular "Thin Value" vlog pissed me off the most. Thin Value? Really? How often are you going to run into a set or cooler in that spot? A hell of a lot. I don't see you take many bad beats or get the wrong end of coolers in your vlogs. I play NLH everyday and every good player runs into sets and horrific bad beats on the regular. Mysteriously, you don't seem to have that problem. Why is that?

Won a 4k pot and tipped the dealer $1? Hope you never come to my room. Not asking for a percentage or even a big number; but a nickel is too much? This is the reason the dealer pool has gotten bad. Would you ever say 'until I talk to you again, I will talk to you'? No, because it just doesn't make sense. You might say "until next time, take care" or "until next time, be safe" but not "until next time, I'll see ya." 🙂
I’m just here for Rogue 🐕
I just suffered my worst loss ever after watching one of your previous big loss vlogs on my way to the casino. I almost wanted to quit poker forever. I hope in time my sessions turn into this one and I can continue to play my favorite game. Thanks for being an inspiration to newbie 1/2 players! ❤️
Rarest hand in poker occurred in a different video just posted. SF v. SF v. Quads, simultaneously in a hand, both hole cards being used by all 3 players in hand. Can anyone calculate odds? It’s two simultaneous bad beats.
Bet the guy at the end had two pair. 10’s and 7’s and you hit two pair with the board pairing on the end to cooler him.
Seems like you have a lot of european pros in Florida? Right?

River Value raise was obviously amazing 👍 but I still not agree with the preflop calls with AJhh and AKo, would have played that aggressively, especially deepstacked

You may loose often both times a middlish pot vs mediocre hands you wanted to fold out if you don’t hit the K on the second board and rarely win a big. Well except you play the second board as you did, good job there 😄

You don't always 3 bet big hands......stop listening to these so called experts.
I don't understand the sizing of your raise on the river with AK in the thin value hand. If you think he's capped at 1 pair, raising to 3.4x looks pretty strong. I would have gone to $1250 or $1,300 to make the price too good for him to fold. $1,400 would probably be my max

I'm of the opinion that calling to chop is -ev
ROUGE!!!
isn't it possible he is making a value but with a Queen on the river. Your check on the turn means you likely do not have the ace
Lol did you tip the dealer a $1 chip after winning that 4k pot?!
When you call someone else's all in, MAKE THEM SHOW. You're making entertainment here. We want to see. It also lets you know more about how they play.
has rained yet
A pro? He open raises and calls a C/R river? Rather than an A/Q what could he have? And why would you bet / call a check raise with a Q?
86 of spades? @7:18? 8 of spades on the board, no?
If your opponent did have two pair on the last hand, the deuce counterfeit him...
Lotion up next time you yank your meat. Won't get calluses 😉
It's your best year so far because you're playing your best poker. Being a pro doesn't just mean folding big hands it also means getting value when you can.

Being a pro means you get lucky on the turn cards......that's what pros do.
Nice river raise in the AK hand 13:34 What I don’t understand is what is he calling a $1700 raise with that’s worse than top pair top kicker???? Did he just not believe you? I’m not calling with any less than KQ

Because he runs good......the secret to no limit Holdem is very simple.....win most of your BIG pots ....that is an absolute requirement to be profitable at this game .
Won a 4k pot and tipped the dealer $1? Hope you never come to my room. Not asking for a percentage or even a big number; but a nickel is too much? This is the reason the dealer pool has gotten bad. Players cannot complain about dealers if they are not willing to pay for quality. A friend of mine told me to start watching your streams because they though you were a nice guy and good at your craft. I will not follow you.
I would love a session like this where you can go out and earn enough to pay for rent and food for a month, anything else would go into bankroll.
