Hey Lex, love the videos man, especially the intro to this one. Thinking about starting a VLOG, but just had 2 questions. 1) What are somethings that have helped you improve your video editing. 2) What are some of things you did to improve your game to make it a full time job?

It's refreshing when you are honest like you have been with us on why you started vlogging. Of course making some passive income has to be a goal. Look at other youtubers Rampage. He justified quitting his job post college to his parents because he would have the youtube passive income incase poker wasn't working out. You are a competitor dude, and this is another arena to compete. ...keep doing your thing

Your poker vlog as well as other vloggers often provide me with assurance that I am as good as I say I am and even better than most if not all of you vloggers out there. I do have a different style of playing and betting that is very efficient for me. I double my initial stack approximately 85% of the time on average ( No BS!) within the first hour. I've done this on a consistent basis for a couple of years now. (P. S.) I don't play GTO poker.

Love the videos! Yours quickly became my favorites! Even the OGs of poker vlogs pale in comparison. Glad to see them coming twice a week now. People pay a lot of money for entertainment - if poker is one of their chosen forms of entertainment, then they are getting value from playing - do athletes or musicians add value? As others are alluding to here, I would love to see a video of how you edit and publish your videos. I bumped into you near the Bellagio cage in June.

I don’t care if I’m playing 2/5, 5/10 or 10/25. If I think the table is right backpacks or not and I can make hands that’s the table I’m playing at. Walking with 1k from a 2/5 table is the same as walking with 1k from the 5/10 or 10/25 the only difference is the size of the swings. GL

Great video, Lex. I love poker. I played professionally for a year, made money and I hated it. I play in my spare time now and make a side income and enjoy it again. I think it was the combination of: pressure to win to pay the bills and lack of balance that made me miserable while playing full time.

You mentioned how being a poker player doesn’t bring a lot of value to the world ~ there are tons of jobs that move paper all day to make money ~ very little value brought to the table. Society is no longer only farmers and other essential workers ~ there are so many people in the world now there has to be other ways to create income and you are providing into the poker economy which is an economy of its own ~ many jobs and families supported by casual gamblers in casinos etc. I wouldn’t think too deeply about it.

I believe poker specially at the stakes you play is more like an investor and you use your skills to make money, you take 100 percent of the risk in your own company! Also most people at that level are either pros or have jobs that allows them to play poker as a hobby. Even thought like you said you don't give back to the community or something like that your actually investing in your company so maybe later once your company grows you can actually give back in other ways..Anyways I really enjoy watching your blogs and watch you grow as a poker player.

That's the love-hate relationship with many of the Eastern European players. In general they're known to be spewy/action players, but they're also known to be terribly slow players as well. I'll deal with it as long as they are actually good action, but let me find a nit that also tanks constantly and you can guarantee that I'll start needling them about it.
