    You'll do well in poker. Your willingness to take a step back to analyze the situation is key to all successful steps in life. I still believe you need to take a mini vacation from poker to refresh your mind and let the past month's results go.

    I noticed your sizing increased to get more value. I think it’s a tremendously positive change in your game. To hell with 30-40.% sizing. Get what you can while you can. Great job on that and best of luck with your next session.

  • @matthewgary6843
    @matthewgary68432 жыл бұрын

    The first hand w/ the set of 3's was the best I've seen you do hand reading in a while. Time and time again I've seen you make a large bet on the turn/river when a dynamic card came and you make a bet sizing that doesn't target the hands you want to call you down. I'm glad you got value from your non-nutted value hand, because the likelyhood of getting called by a worse hand when making a 75%+ river bet was probably highly unlikely.

    I enjoy your content the most. You are a genuine person and honest to the bone. I have been following you from the beginning and you have become quite the player. Don't be too hard on yourself; I know you're very competitive and have way too much grit to quit. But not making every call allows you to fight again another day. All the best my friend. PS: maybe keep stats on called hands for yourself and others. Those numbers may tell you something. ???

    I understand the frustration with the downswing. I went in a 2 month cooler. Getting drawn out on 70% of the rivers. I didn’t lose as much as you but I had to take about 3 months off to clear my head and rebuild a bankroll(which I’m still trying to do). Congrats on the win!

    I’m on a big downswing too, needing to rebuild my bank roll. Set over sets, full houses vs bigger ones, etc. it hurts but it is what it is. I tried going in with a different mindset, trying to put opponents in hard spots, well, I was put in tough spots and folded better hands. It’s tough when you think you’re trying hard

    That was a nice call with the kk facing a $800 over bet. Definitely a tough spot to be in, even when it makes the most sense that he's bluffing, he definitely was not wanting a call with that sizing. But it's still tough to put in the calling chip. Well done.

    Self awareness and being attune in your connection with your dealt hand gives you the balance to analyze each players rift of bluffing. 86% chance of winning as you mentioned in that hand but losing was a chance hand for the other player.That is why you kept winning after that because you acted professionally to not let it bother you. The losses for july is in the past and let dead dogs lay dead. The difference between success and failure is paying attention to detail of which you are a winner!

    It feels good to have a good day among so many bad days. I always believe that if you play to be true to yourself. If you lean towards being a poker nit and it works; be a nit. If you are aggressive and it works than be aggressive. If you call with K, 5 and only have bottom pair quit. If you play tight than play a little loose to keep people guessing. If you aggressive learn to fold a little when you see them checking big hands to you all the time.
