A tip for any one in the future planning on bleaching from black to blonde; instead of applying the bleach then washing out and repeating, apply your first batch of bleach then cover it in either foil or a bag or whatever, then after x amount of time, just whip up another batch and reply specifically to targetted areas or just all over! this helps minimize damage and is quicker! this is how we do it in hair salons (well at least how i do it) and it works great so i just wanted to share :) (The idea is that bleach stops working once dry so that new batch will revive it and make it “wet” again!)

Aren't you meant to leave on each application of bleach for a certain time? So if you left the bleach on for 45 mins and then you reapply, for a further 45mins, won't that damage the hair as now you've left the bleach on for a total of 90 mins? Personally, I'd want to get the whole process done in one go but my concern is the damage.
