HOW TO GLUE PULL A CAR DENT! | Full Tutorial On Hot Glue | PDR | GPR

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I show You how to glue pull a vehicle dent.
Full in-depth instructions using the Keco 6C process to ensure the optimum performance in Hot Glue Pulling
The damage is on a brand new Mercedes A35 AMG and the dent is on the passenger door, I’d say a minor dent BUT very obvious and definitely not wanted on this beautiful vehicle.
Not wanting to have the damage repaired and painted our customer contacted us for a Paintless repair and if you watch the video you’ll see how it went!
The equipment I’m using is the Keco level 2E system and I’m using the finesse side of the system to carefully tweak the damage out.

  • @dentremover01

    Yes exactly. It takes years of practice and a lot of investment in the tools to be able to carry out a repair like this. Your not paying for the 1hour that it took, your paying for the 20 years experience I regularly go to Bodyshops to magic dents out for them, while they are filling and repainting jobs I can fix within a few hours. They cost more because of the labour, parts, paint and business costs. It’s not fair to say (I know you didn’t btw) that the PDR person is too expensive because they are literally magic-ing the damage out and keeping your vehicle original I don’t think you can out a price on such a service Thank you for your good comment

    A brand new car, in Black (the worst colour for an invisible repair) and there's no sign of the damage ever being there. Very impressive ! Very professional, latest tools, combined with your extremely skillful application makes this job perfect. Customer satisfaction is paramount and I'm sure they were happy. Even with my critical eyes...that's a damn good job. Was the total price inclusive of VAT ? AND....did you check the internal bonding between the brace and the door skin, or was this not required ? Well done.

    Hi John thanks for your kind feedback 🙌🏼 The price with vat was mentioned when I estimated it and initially I didn’t check what the brace was like I only dropped a tool inside which was obstructed by the brace. The bonding was still intact once the repair was finished. I’m very happy you enjoyed the repair video Thanks Martin

    I truly appreciate how precise and perfectionist you are approaching your each job, no matter how small or big they may be. I believe $350 would also be a fair price for a PDR work here in US as well! Thanks.👍🏻

  • @supercharged2414

    @supercharged2414

    Totally agree. Maybe less in the US depending on source. I was guessing $250 which is still about $100 an hour. Plus traveling time. Body shop labor is only $45 an hour now which I think is pitiful. Then the shop owner gets half of that. PDR can be quite profitable if you are good and fast.

    HELLO MARTIN, BEAUTY MATE AS ALWAYS! TO CUSTOMERS, MARTIN IS A MULTI DECADE TECH AND MAKES THIS LOOK EASY! Please understand that he is showing established PDR techs how to GPR properly. Here in The States I see, a couple of times a week now, where someone bought that $100-$150+ kit from Amazon or even the auto parts store now and try this instead of (before) calling a professional. It will cost more because we have to put it as close to the original damage as possible first,it most likely won’t have as good an outcome and then add the money wasted on the cheap made in China crap. So please avoid all this and go to a professional. Diminished value from a painted panel on a nice car is a scam here. ❤
